Steve Rowland, Michelle Cordova, James Peter Puppy scam - Send money for a puppy receive nothing in return Lagos Nigeria
They tried to get me with their little scam but lucky I saw the report before I went through with it. I was inquiring about adopting a puppy for my girlfriend and Michelle Cordova emailed me back saying that all of her puppies had been adopted but she could refer me to one of her customers that just recently moved with his job to West Africa.
Mr. Steve Rowland, an alleged worker for the U.S. House of Representatives, was the person I emailed to ask about the puppies. He responded within a couple of hours then after several emails and even sending me pictures of some puppies he informed me that it would cost $350 to ship the puppy.
He had a great story, saying that he would only allow me to adopt the puppy if I promised to send him updated pictures of the puppy and if I promised to give the puppy all my love and attention. This was on Saturday and I was planning to send the money on Monday but something told me to wait and not send the money until Thursday.
And I am so glad I did because I was sitting at work on Wednesday night and decided to research these individuals because I got an email from another breeder, Barbara Spearman with a very similar story that I had received in the email from Michelle Cordova. Except in this one her customer was a doctor, Sherri Hartley and she was also sent to West Africa.
And I thought it was a little strange but later in the email she said that this doctor had the same amount of puppies as Steve and the same gender (1 male, 2 females). I then knew that something was not right!
So not only be aware of Michelle Cordova and Steve Rowland but also Barbara Spearman and Sherri Hartley because they somehow messed up when it came to me. I thank God for showing me this scam before I sent any money!
