I ordered a CD that said I could learn the language really easy. It was a small amount and so I thought I would at least try the langage CD. I received the CD and thought nothing about it. Then I continued to get charges on my credit card statement for a larger amount and then I got more CDs in the mail. During this time, I was hospitalized again. I am a wounded warrior. I was injured in Iraq and so I return to the hospital quit a bit.
When I got home from the hospital, I found that I had received this set of CDs that I did not order. Then I got a bill because the credit card they had declined to charge more than my earlier order. Thank God that the card was declined. They were going to charge me another $192.00 for a $30.00 order. They already got $64.00 without my consent.
I am being ripped off because they want their money for CDs I did not order. I called them on the phone and explained to them that I did not order all of these CDs for $256.00. They are threatening to legally come after me for the money. Do I really have to pay for something I did not order. I told them I would return the CDs but they said that they would still legally come after me for the order.
I did not order all of these CDs. I'm going crazy. I'm a wounded war vet and I can't believe someone is trying to rip me off. In fact, I refuse to ever order a magazine, or a item from Publishers Clearing house ever again. I want nothing to do with them because of this nightmare I am going through. Again, is there something I can do about all of this?
