We bought a car at superior auto in Indiana and have almost got it paid off we are living in Tennessee now and have been mailing payments back, we have had nonstop problems with it including to it jerking down road, all equipment on dash goes out at different times and we were having all these problems before moving with it and we were told to take to ford dealer for looksee and tell them price it is a ford contour and the ford place said it would need whole dash out and all and we would be charged by hour we called superior they talked to bosses and said costs would be on us.
I am disabled and am diabetic and son is diabetic and husband and daughter have high blood pressure so we have alot of doctors to see and we are still having same car problems as we now decided to have carmax do check on it to try get different car and yesterday at their office we found out the odometer has been altered or replaced and it has been on frame straightening machine and has undercarriage damage and bends and buckles rewelds frame work and damage to core. We were not aware of any of this and we asked when we got it about potential problems and were told if any they were minor. I do not call this minor. And i thought it was against the law to replace or tamper with odometer?
Also carmax report says extensive body work and of poor quality. We were shocked and still owe 1800.00 on it we are paying on a car we are not hardly going anywhere in and my mother lives 10 miles away and I am calling her for my husband to get ride to work now. As before in Indiana we did the same thing but we could never get anywhere there with superior so we are out trying to find a car that is reliable and a few days ago when it started and i got it to go to town finally it jerked all the way and on pulling away from stopping it squeals its own tires you wonder if you will be stranded. But we are in country and have no choice we are not rich. If anyone can help by telling me what to do please help. I am not knowledgable of law on this.

Still no use they are bad business people

We called superior today and asked them since we are down to 1,800 payoff if we may trade for running vehicle and the lady on phone asked her boss and said "Oh I am so sorry where you are left owing now you could have done that but since you moved to Tennessee we can not do that" But she said she is sorry to hear it does not want to run for us to drive all the time and to have a good day! And I believe this is a crock of bull. We were trusted to bring it out of state and pay on it. We could have been dishonest and never told where we were but we asked permission and told address and have never missed a payment we always pay 20.00 extra on each to stay ahead. And we found out they have the superior in Ohio so we were asking to trade and get running car we would have asked to go to Ohio one since closer to us and even pay payments on difference to have something to run till tax time and we can afford another car but yet we were denied that. And how can you have a nice day when you do not know if you will have way to work tomorrow? I do not get peoples' way of thinking. They need to climb down off their soap boxes and put themselves in position of those who are struggling and trying to do right. And make things right.
