I received a call from Andy, customer service agent #5555 of Superior Benefits. He stated that Superior Benefits can help me rebuild my credit by offering me a credit card in the amout of $2,000 for a one time amount of $299.

After talking with him about the benefits of the card I explained to him that I could not afford to pay the amount at that time, however I would pay it at a later date. Mr. Pyre informed me that I could schedule the withdrawal for September 17, 2003, however I could change the date as long as I did it 7 days prior to the date it was to be drawn from my account. changed .

After several weeks had gone by, and my money had been drafted from my account I called Superior Benefits and at this time I spoke to Steve customer service agent # 5159. He told me that my package was being shipped and apologized for the delay and that it should be arriving at my home within 10 business days

I later talked with my bank to try to stop payment on the withdrawal, but it was too late at this time. The bank told me that once the money had been drafted from my accont there was little I could do to retrieve it other than to complain to the company that withdrew it. I have attempted to contact Superior Benefits more than 100 times daily over the telephone since 10/28/03 but without success. The telephone just rings or the telephone line is busy.

I took the advice of someone on the internet who had a similar experience with Superior Benefits and file a complaint.

I just tried to phone Superior Benefits, now 6 months since all of this happened and now the telephone line is disconnected. I also attempted to visit them on the web, but the site is under construction.

Please beware of these types of scams!!!!!!!!!!!

EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.
