The sales rep for this company talked me into the pay per click advertising and although I was unsure I was told I could cancel at anytime.

When our advertising did not begin as scheduled I tried to cancel the advertising. When I talked to the sales rep she informed me to just wait and give it a try. So I did. I waited. And of course immediately noticed it was doing nothing for me.

After a call to a representative to Yext during my advertising with SuperMedia, they informed me that my business name was not listed ANYWHERE. 

I again tried to cancel SuperMedia. The sales rep would not return my calls and was slow to reply to my emails. After talking to her supervisor she finally called back and "Was working on canceling it but it was after the 14 days I had to cancel" What happened to being able to cancel anytime?

As it turns out thats not true, what she should have said was that m you can stop the advertising anytime but you will still pay for the next year!

I have called more than a dozen times requesting this account be closed.I don't get an answer, I always get the run around, un-returned phone calls, and e-mails. 

I have refused to pay the bills they continually send me as I they have not done their advertising, and they lied to me about canceling. This company is beyond low, and I can only help to inform others before they make the same mistake and sign up for this awful service.

FYI Yext will list you all over the internet for only $60 a month. Why am I paying SuperMedia $150 a month? They keep saying I got this many leads a month, when I have only had ONE customer in the last 5 months call me from them!

I have done much better on my own using SEO and Google.

Stay away from SuperMedia!

We have been advertising with Supermedia for last 13 years , so far have paid over $100,000.00 for yellow pages ad
and for last few years paid over $300.00 monthly for sp.com which is very simple website , with our company information , hopping that we will receive a lots of call from customer , as a big company we are , we never spend time monitoring it's effect , The rep showed up 05/11/11 to renew contract for yellow pages ad , I told her that the advertising on internet ( website ) not responding , i like to cancel the service , she told me they have new product and she gonna make some changes to make it work , I trusted her , ask here if i can cancel it any time , she confirm yes , And I said ok as long as i can cancel it if is not working for us , she got me to sign contract for print advertising , and at same time she include contract for website which had renewal date 6 mounts later, few Mounts later i called here to change phone number on website so i can proved to my self ,, this is noting but wasting money , it took them good 3 weeks to do that , then monitoring that phone line we realized no call coming in ,  I email here that i want to cancel the internet service , over and over till she respond ,

that was the last time i heard  from her . I Sent more email to her see if i can get , login password to log in my site and change things , never heard from here , then i stop payment , no body ever call  me from supermedia to see what's up , they kept sending bill every mount till now , wonder what happen to that nice friendly rep use to coma here to get my signature on contract , now collection agency calling me every week , after over 10 years  spending over $100.000.00 with this company , is that what i deserve , did not get one courtesy call from them to see why i stop payment , instead they turn my account to collection agency , ,,, stay away from supermedia , it's all ripoff ,
