Dear Sheila, I'm very sorry that you have had such a poor experience with our company - however, it is apparent from reading your complaint that you signed up for our "free trial" offer without first reading the terms and conditions you must agree to in order to place an order with us. We do not offer or advertise "free samples" which are out-right gifts; we are offering customers a 15-day "free trial" offer so that interested persons can try our product over a 15-day period before they are billed for the product (if they choose to keep it). This gives customers the oppurtunity to test out our product and see if it is right for them before making a financial committment. We are not sending out one-month supplies for only $4.95, however - that is just the shipping and handling fee that you pay to have your trial delivered to you. In order to sign up for a trial offer with us, you must check a box agreeing to the terms and conditions of the program. The terms and conditions state the following: --- When you order the Free Trial of Colotrim you will be charged only $4.95 (non-refundable) for shipping and handling. You will have a full 15 day free trial period from your original ship date to decide if Colotrim is right for you. In your trial offer you will receive two trial bottles of Colotrim which is a one month supply. If you are enjoying Colotrim, then do nothing and at the end of your 15-day trial period you will be charged $39.95 per bottle for the two trial bottles you received for a total of $79.90. Please remember most customers see significant and noticeable results after using Colotrim consistently for 3 months. If you find Colotrim is not right for you, simply contact our Customer Service Department to cancel your membership within 15 days of your product shipment date and you will not be charged any additional fees. To cancel within your 15 day trial period please call 1-866-899-9006, we're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Approximately 30 days from your original ship date and every 30 days thereafter you will be sent a monthly supply of Colotrim and your credit card on file will be billed $39.95 per bottle plus $4.95 shipping and handling for a total of $84.85. That way you insure you will conveniently have it shipped directly to your front door every month and never run out. --- It would appear the reason you received one bottle with your initial shipment and two bottles with your 2nd shipment was because the product had been improved in-between shipments; the Colotrim was refined into a Purify formula and a Cleanse formula to maiximize results, so we sent you the new and improved version of Colotrim with your 2nd shipment. I'm very sorry you were poorly treated by customer service whom you spoke with; we do not condone this type of conduct and will do our best to make sure our staff is informed of this incident. On a closing note, please do remember that it is your responsibility as a consumer to read disclosures you agree to - the reason we list terms and conditions on our order page which you MUST agree with before ordering, is to prevent these kind of incidents from occuring.
