I signed up with Survey Scout on March 30, 2004 and I was told by their website I would typically receive cash for the surveys I completed. They fail to mention that these surveys you fill out only enter you for cash prizes.

Then I tried signing up for the mystery shopper sites they recommended.

These commpanies offered me very few shops, and when they did they were always at least an hour away from my home and would cost me the $10 they paid in gas alone to get to the places. I would apply for these mystery shops and never be assigned anything.

I requested my refund and received an email stating that they would process my refund within 72 hours, then when the information reached Click Bank, Click Bank would then process their end of the refund and the refund would occur within an unsaid amount of time. I was told not to contact Survey Scout again within their stated refund timeframes or it would place my refund request at the end of their "queue". WHY??

This company works from a PO Box and has no 800 number or other number to contact anyone at. So, is this a scam? Probably, if they DO have people who don't choose to cancel their subscription, it's probably because they figure they will never get the refund. I will post back very soon to let you know how the "refund process" goes. Good luck to all.
