Suzuki Retail Services Rip off on Late charges finances charges interest rate and they are RUDE! Baltimore Maryland
I purchased 2 Suzukis at the end of May 2007. One was purchased in my husbands name and 1 was purchased in my name. I mailed the first payment in June. They claimed my payment was late--It was $49.00. That is crazy. My husband recieved a phone call on August 6, 2007. That we owed a late fee for both accounts. I called them immediately and was very apologenic assuming that maybe it was my fault that they recieved it 1 day late (now that I think about it I am convinced that it was not my fault) but I paid the late fee and apolized again.
When I was ending my conversation with the representative I doubled checked with her that I was paid up and clear until my next statement was recieved. She assured me that I was caught up and clear that my next payment was $49.00 and was due the 26th of August. I recieved my statement in the mail around the 8th of August. I immediately wrote 2 checks out for both accounts and put them directly in the mail the next day.
I am now recieving phone calls that I owe a late payment and finance charges and everything else they can pin on me. I immediately called them and spoke with a woman that I was not to friendly with. After not getting anything resolved from her I hung up the phone and pulled my bank account information up so that when I returned the call I had everything I needed to stand my case.
So I return the call for the second time (on Sept. 10, 2007). This time I spoke with a different representative and he was not helpful at all. I explained to him about the previous call and the the call on August 6 where i was cleared of all charges. He then at the time was still determined that I owed this fee. I then asked to speak with a supervisor which was NEVER placed on the phone. I even told them to pull the last phone call from August 6 which he refused to do. Every conversation is suppose to be recorded and I wanted that conversation pulled. At the end of the conversation of NOT getting anywhere I was in tears. I know that I was correct but yet they were determined they were correct. This is my credit they are messing with and I am very upset over the whole situation.
I feel as though they have found a sucker and they are sticking it to me. I just want every one aware of the crap we have been put through since our first payment!
I mailed my payments ahead of time and they are only going to Baltimore which is about 1 hour away from where I reside....why they are supposelyt showing up late I will never understand!
This is the worst company EVER to do business with!
For example I was late on my Discover card----I contacted them and they recredited me the late fee. That I do owe up to...I try to keep the excellent credit that I have....or had until I got with this company!
Please if you are purchasing an ATV or ANYTHING from Suzuki please finance it through your bank...it will save so much hassle for you!
