WoW ED you did a lot of homework. Now if you could tell us your point? So what if Jerry Moyes is rich. Is that what your complaint is? You were never an owner operator for Swift so I know that cant be your complaint. What exactly is your beef with Jerry Moyes or are you just giving us information about him? You talk and talk and talk about him but never really come out with a specific complaint. Something verifiable that is. You implied boycotting. Did you mean boycotting companys that Jerry has invested in? Oh I hope he has no mutual funds. He may have his hand in everything. Are you trying to get us all to boycott him because he went from rags to riches and he wont give poor little ED a piece of the pie for doing absoulutley nothing. You come up with a legitimate complaint about SWIFT and I'll be the 1st one to back your play ED. The truth is your a lasy sack of s**t who has worked for coutless employers and has complained about all of them. You are a parasite to society wanting something for nothing and hate all who work towards the American Dream. Go back to Bagdad where you came from ED

i went through a company school once and it was a joke. if your going to a company school find out if you have to go to the dmv for the pre-trip and drive test. that way you'll have a compant that knows it has to produce a driver who can operate the truck. most companies have certified state instructors wich means its a cdl stamp mill. you dont learn anything. it costs just under 10,000 dollars to train a driver after all the school time and otr time. so if you look at all these complaints times ten then you get the idea of how much money they're losing. thats about 23,000 dollars say for this site, and thats just those who know about this site. when all is insured the only thing they can afford to lose is you. but thats changing too.

I have been working in private contract security for almost 20 years and I was going to switch to truck driving. I was wondering whether or not to go to school with Swift or Stephens. It seemed too good to be true that you could be trained to drive and that you could earn a decent living afterwards. I am pretty desparate for work and training! Private security was ok when I started in it 20 years ago. I could make a good living, working lots of overtime. Then, I started realizing what private contract security service providers are up to. The entire "temp" business is not unlike the pimp who puts his hos out on the street and beats h*** out of them if they don't come across with da money! These sleazebag security company owners put you in a USED polyester uniform for which they charge you a BIG deposit like it was new which you never get back, then they put you on a post which you are supposed to "guard' many times unarmed.(They tell the parent corporate company that they are buying NEW uniforms, make up phoney invoices to submit then buy from a used uniform brokers who buy from security companies that liquidate. Are YOU gonna die for minimum wage? That's what they expect and then they won't even provide OSHA standards of sanitation or potable drinking water much less a soda machine. No matter how you knock yourself out or ingratiate yourself to the client of the security company, they can still terminate the contract or jerk you out of there and put someone else in. If the contract is about to be terminated, the security company will fabricate something and then fire you for it so they don't have to pay unemployment. ALLIED SECURITY is famous for this! They really, really suck as employers. When you have been there long enough for a raise and/or a vacation, instead of letting you take it, they will make up an excuse and fire you and replace you with some dumb young kid, maybe a cop wannabe, so you won't get unemployment and then the manager puts the savingsin his pocets. Private security comapnies have a HUGE turnover. EVen moreso than the truckdrivers that homeboy was talking about in the Swift Trucking compaint he filed. It is a continual bloodfest because the officer who actually does the guard work is treated like crap and the only way to get anyh benefits or consideration as a human being is to get into the supervisory or office. So it gets very unpleasant at times. The only people who seem to play this game very well are retired rear eschelon military types who are almost always males and have it in for ALL women and whatever minority groups they are NOT a member of! When that king of his own dung pile empire gets taken out eventually, the process begins anew.BY keeping everybody at each other's throat, the owners of the company does not have to worry about providing any benefits for long-term employees and can circumvent most government regulations regarding treatment of employees. The wages are a joke. Sometimes crooks with no record get into security and get ripped off on purpose. I have personally guarded company fnctions where the security officer was threatened with being fire if he/she drank one cold drink and there were iced down cases upon cases of the, And when you are d**n near broke and there is food in the refrigerator from a recent bash that everyone forgot about ad you aren't supposed
