I placed an order with Stylinonline clear back in July 06. The order was for a Scarface t-shirt that said it was authentic and it also showed images on both the front and back of this shirt online so, I ordered it.

Lets just say by the time it was actually received, it wasnt even the same shirt as advertised. YES, the front of the shirt was the same but there was nothing on the back of this shirt at all.

This was my first email.

THIS TOOK PLACE JULY 6TH 2006.

Hello and how are u? I am writing this email in response to a shipment confirmation I just received. Im a little upset at the fact that I placed the order on July 4th, and its going out on July 7th, three days later and that of course then means an additional 3-5 business days from that date, July 7th for a total of about 8 days (not including weekends which will come into effect no doubt) and when I think about it, I could have purchased some items from a store (not online) and have selected the items and took them to the post office myself and not only would that package have went out by now, they would have received it by now. It is VERY important that my packages get there by July 12th and in the future in a timely manner. I guess for the price of shipment, you would think that it wouldnt be 3-5 business days first of all even though I considered that but I didnt think it would take "3 days" to merely fill the order regardless of how many orders you receive. So I say ALL that to say that had I took went to a local store myself and then took those items to the post office myself, it would have been there by now and the cost of sending it would have been much cheaper. Anyways, I thought that I would email you back and at least bring this up. Thank You

UNDERSTAND THAT I NOW KNOW THAT THIS IS CONSIDERED "STANDARD" BUSINESS PRACTICE IN REGARDS TO HOW LONG IT TAKES TO "FILL" AN ORDER AND SHIP IT OUT TO U REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH U PAY IN SHIPPING FEE'S AND "WHAT KIND" OF SHIPMENT U PAY FOR, IT STILL TAKES FOREVER FOR THE CONSUMER TO RECEIVE IT BUT WHEN I WROTE THE ABOVE EMAIL, I DIDNT KNOW THIS. I HADNT MADE THAT MANY PURCHASES ONLINE AT THE TIME DUE TO MY LACK OF TRUST.

THE FOLLOWING TOOK PLACE ON JULY 10TH 2006.

"I'd like to know where my order is? I placed the order on the 4th of July and its now the 11th! Its been 7 days since I placed the order, where is it at? I needed for this order to make it to its destination by the 12 of July. Its very important that it does. I will be very upset if it doesnt. Had I selected something from a department store and took it to the post office and mailed in myself, it would have been there already and the cost of shipping it would have been cheaper. Never understand why its costs more to take longer"

I then called "James" at sylinonline who is a very nice man, very pleasant to talk with but I now beleive that is just a persona and image he may keep up to make people trust in him.

I then followed up with an email below dated: July 12 2006.

James, this is ------ ---------. Umm, We were disconnected yesterday and you never called me back. Umm, I called you back several times, you never answered. I called you back today, no asnwer and your voice mail is full. SO I guess this means I (your customer) is at your mercy and you will call me when its conveinant for you,If at all at this point. I did ALL of the footwork on this situation u did nothing, Absolutly nothing, I made numerous phone calls to variuos post offices and spent several hours doing so and as well as today, I spent several hours trying to get to the bottom of this while u sit back and do nothing. I am YOUR customer James, YOU should be doing all this footwork wondering what happened to this package, NOT ME! If you ordered something from QVC and you dont get the package who do you call? You would call QVC and demand to know where your order is wouldnt you? YOU would not be trying to track this down yourself, you would leave that up to QVC because YOU are their customer and now, you just dont answer your phone when you see my number. Today is her birthday and she doesnt have her package that I paid for but yet you have $ from me. This is absolutly unacceptable and there is no other number I can call for sylinonline because u only list your number so I guess its fair to assume since you did not return my call back yesterday after your cell died or today that I have been duped.If I had a customer on the phone and my phone died or disconnected the call I most certainly would call them back, its been now 24 I have waited for you to call me in regards to this and yet, nothing. This is upsetting to me and to my daughter. Yea, you got me.

AGAIN, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT NOW I KNOW THAT PERHAPS I WAS ASKING FOR TO MUCH IN REGARDS TO THE TIME FRAME. I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WHEN U PLACE AN ORDER ON THE 4TH AND U ARE TOLD THAT THEY WILL RECEIVE IT BY THE 12TH, TO TRUST THAT THEY WILL.I AM MERELY INCLUDING ALL EMAILS IN REGARDS TO MY COMPLAINT AGAINST STYLINONLINE I.E JAMES.

HERE IS YET ANOTHER EMAIL THAT WAS SENT OUT ON JULY 13 2006.

IT READS AS FOLLOWS:

I enjoyed speaking with u as well James. Now, There must of been a delay in emails because I looked at the time that your email came and you sent your last email around the same time I sent my last email yesterday, I naturally thought it got to the point where maybe u was dodging my calls since u never called me back since that day your cell disconnected us. The whole situation struck me as bizarre and this is why I thought I got hustled. I dont know if you have spoke with the Post Office, I have not did any more foot work regarding this since that day. That was very time consuming and nerve wrecking and well, I personally dont think that its my responsibility to track it down although I tried. Its a shame that everything relys on the personal mail carriers "memory" in the first place. This is what they do every day for a living so I think it could very easily get confusing when they are delivering 3 and 4 packages all in the same time frame, all packaged pretty much the same, no boxes all "envelope" type packaging. How can they specifically remember what they dropped off on "Monday" when eariler that week Thurs, Fri and Sat they dropped off same type of packages? To me, I think it sucks that it relays solely on that carriers honesty and memory. Havent they every woke up on a Thursday and it felt like it was a Sunday all day long? Its very easy to get that confused in my opinion UNLESS they hadnt delivered ANY packages like that in quite some time then perhaps it would stand out like a sore thumb but all that week I had packages sent out to her. He or she could very easily say "Well yes, I remember delivering a package like that"!! Of course they could, look at how many they delivered in such a short period of time. Anyways, nothing has come and nobody has been of any assistance to me, perhaps they would be of more assistance to you even though I did receive your email stating u was sending her out another one, certainly u would like to find out what happened with the first order so then u are not out any monies. If for some reason she ends up getting "both" packages, I will have one of them returned to u no problem. I apologize for the accusation, I naturally came to that conclusion when I didnt hear back from you at all & the fact that I did the footwork. Thank you for your reply, enjoy your trip. THE ABOVE EMAIL WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WAS TOLD THAT NOT ONLY WAS MY PACKAGE SENT, BUT IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY DELIVERED!!!! JAMES @ STYLINONLINE DID NO FOOT WORK HIMSELF, I DID ALL THE FOOTWORK. I DONT THINK AS A CONSUMER ITS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO DO THIS...THIS IS HIS COMPANY AND IM HIS CUSTOMER THEREFORE, HE SHOULD OF BEEN THE ONE INCONVEINANCING HIMSELF, NOT ME. OH BUT HE HAD A CARTOON COMICBOOK CONVENTION HE WAS ATTENDING AND WELL, I GUESS HE DIDNT WANT TO BE DISTRACTED AND/OR DISTURBED WHEN IT COMES TO THE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE. MY ORDER AND WHAT I MAY HAVE HAD GOING ON IN MY OWN LIFE HAD TO BE SPARED AND PUT ON THE BACK BURNER SO I COULD PLAY DETECTIVE FOR HOURS N HOURS ON END OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL DAYS BECAUSE WHAT I HAD GOING ON IN MY LIFE WASNT NEARLY AS IMPORTANT AS TO WHAT HE HAD GOING ON IN HIS LIFE. GOOD GOD, U WOULD HAVE THOUGHT I WORKED THERE AS MUCH TIME AND EFFORT I PUT IN.

ANYWAYS, I TRIED TO CONTINUE TO CALL JAMES ABOUT THE PACKAGE NOT BEING CORRECT AND HIS VOICEMAIL WAS ALWAYS FULL AND NEVER EMPTIED AND WHEN I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO LEAVE HIM A MESSAGE ABOUT THE PACKAGE NOT BEING RIGHT, HE NEVER RETURNED A SINGLE PHONE CALL OR EMAIL. THE LAST EMAIL FROM ME TO HIM READS BELOW:

Hello James. I thought I would write u this email to inform u that the packaged arrived today & she got it. There was no signature required. I thought that a signature was going to be required, guess not. Anyways, there are some issues with it anyways meaning what it advertised on the site and what she got are two different shirts. For 1.there is NOTHING on the back of the t-shirt like advertised and 2. it isnt a authentic scarface tshirt from the scarface clothing company although when I typed in "scarface clothing company" or "scarface t shirts" some links pop up and when u click it, stylinonline appears. It says " it is officially licensed" so naturally I was under the impression that it was from the scarface clothing company and u are an authorized dealer. There wasnt any tags, nothing. Again, there wasnt even anything on the back of the t shirt at all. This wasnt even the same shirt that I ordered. smh.

This has been one ole disappointing experience, seriously. I know u might be thinking "this woman is crazy as hell" but I want what I pay for. I want what I ordered. And I didnt get it, period. Well, she didnt rather. Starting from the fiasco with the post office and me doing all the foot work, all the way down to the fact she didnt even have to sign for this order (but your email specified otherwise) and the fact it isnt even the shirt that u advertise on your site. Wow. Just wow.(MY NAME SIGNED)

LIKE I SAID, IT WASNT ANYTHING LIKE WHAT IT SHOWED ON HIS WEBSITE BECAUSE IT EVEN SHOWED FRONT AND BACK IMAGES AND THERE WAS ABSOLUTLY NOTHING ON THE BACK OF THIS T-SHIRT. I NEVER EVEN SO MUCH AS GOT AN APOLOGY FOR THIS.NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. ONLY THING THAT HE DID MANAGE TO DO WAS SEND OUT A 2ND SHIPMEMT BECAUSE THE FIRST ONE HE CLAIMS HE SENT OUT WAS NEVER RECEIVED. MAYBE U SHOULD ACTUALLY MAKE THE CUSTOMERS SIGN FOR IT LIKE U SPECIFY U DO.

Its up to you whether u wish to deal with this company people. But if you asked me would I deal with them again my answer would definetly be NO! Hell NO! I have found several other companys that are very professional and get things done and u get what you ordered in a timely manner.
