Its just like the heading states, they are crooked including the clerk who writes down the auction tickets. Alot of people have stopped going and im very near stopping myself as well. You win an auction item knowing you have paid $3 for the item and when you go to pay at the end you have been charged a couple dollars more.
You can win an item also and then they will reopen the bid and you are bidding on the item you have won for more cause Tom has so called not seen the other person bidding out of the corner of his eye. In other times when he finalizes the auction bid its over but other times he reopens the bid.
Nothing goes for less than $3, its their auction barn they do what they want, its not right. So many people complain its a normal thing there. I wish to god the people who hand out these auction license would come see this for themselves so they could see for themselves.
you would have to go there a few times to know the whole scheme of theirs.
If you buy a can of pop watch the date on it as well, too many people have complained about bad taste and then they find out why. Their stuff is total trash and they know it too. If you dont bid on it he threatens the crowd to throw it in the dumpster but next time around when me and my wife first began to go and hear him say this we found that the trash was there the next week.
He is hurting to sell the crap. Shut your doors, your a horrible auctioneer. you will never be any better than you are now! if your to stay in business my wife and i and our family suggest you take lessons from auctioneers in the area! People gossip about all their crooked ways, id like to hear what others are saying as well

t & l auction bellveiw avenue, ottawa illinois. watch when you bid that the clerk writes down what you paid for the item correctly the crooked winch will write down more than what the final bid was for when you go to pay! BUYERS BEWARE!! WATCH YOUR TICKETS WHEN YOU PAY, THEY ARE CROOKS, THEY WILL NEVER BE ANY BETTER THAN WHAT THEY ALREADY ARE CINCY!
