TD retail card services a.k.a. the Yard Card received two checks- one July 5 & did not cash until after the due date, which was the 16th and did it again with a check they received August 1- they did not cash it until the 19th of August. Numerous times our bank tried to confirm that the checks were delivered in a timely manner via copies of checks and transaction reports, and the company gave a 30 day turnaround to resolve the matter and continued to charge late fees, as well as an extra charge for the account not being current. Even though these checks were done through online banking TD Retail Card Services refused to acknowledge their error and even accused the bank of holding the checks. The manager was rude and after numerous attempts we had to refinance the loan with another company to avoid this reoccurring.
