Teleking ripoff Promise the world, take your money, and hide like cowards. a fraud, and I did not get what I paid for. Miami Wisconsin
I was running short on making ends meet, so I thought of looking for a part time job. I saw the ad, and was lured in by there promising ad on TV. I heard of this type of business so thought it could be a great way to get ahead. The asking price was $11,950.
The promises were never ending. I was to be the sole distributor in town. It was totally turn key, and if I was looking to get the equiptment and find my own locations, I was not for them because they do it all. I recieved several calls a week from them convinsing me that it was the right thing to do. A small donation now would send me to the six figure mark in no time. I desided it was to much to invest, so I declined.
Then the deals came. The price was down to $5000.00 for a smaller package. The president of Teleking called because of breaking news. Amico gas stations were going to sell Teleking exclusively. He said not to miss out on this opertunity, and to get in on the ground level. They would find my locations and all I needed to do is set up the displays and restock the cards.
The contract was written in January of 2002. To this day I have zero accounts from them, and the displays have never been used. After several calls for locations, (I even sent them paces with phone numbers), the president refused my calls. Later attempts to contact resulted in them saying he was on a temperary leave of absence. My local Amico station never heard of them. I am out $5,000.00. I do not intend to give up. I will continue to get my money back, including participation in a class action lawsuit. When dealing with honest people, I beleave this can be a valid business. Unfortunately, Teleking is a fraud, and I did not get what I paid for.
