Complaint Review: The Alliance - Encino California

Following a resume posting on Monster.com, I received the following e-mail from a "Steven Plato" with a job offer. The email never provided the name of the company, but requested that I contact an employee named "Marc" at (818)876-5953, or respond with my name and phone number to [email protected].

After researching this address and finding no website for Alliance-Services, Alliance, or Alliance Services (which is suspicious for a company that describes itself as enormously successful in a struggling economy), I was directed to ripoffreport.com. I called the number, which turned out to be a fax number.

This is a complete scam. I encourage anyone else who has received an email similar to this to report it. Shame on people for preying on the unemployed.
