The Cortina seemed like a great place litle did I know it was a rip off!! The problem here is a manager who makes up and changes the rules as it suits her needs and bonuses. When I moved in I was told that we had use of the pools, racketball court, tennis court and weight room in the sister property (The Boulevard). This was nice when our pool was crowed or to use different exercise equipment and of course play racketball!

One day somebody noticed the pool gates were not keyed which I am sure is some sort of violation in itself. At this point the manager had both properties keyed but due to the fact the two properties had given different amenity keys for the two weight rooms they keyed them different. Renters were told several different tales includeing insurance which did not make any difference for five years. People were also told the management decided and you should not have been told this upon touring the property and sorry but we could not make up that many keys so as a result I suppose they exspect us to shrug and walk away.

I think not I have been lied to at least twice.I think this was a mistake that would cost the Cortina money and effect the bonuses!! At one point the manager took it upon herself to decide who could and could not use the ajoining amenities and giveing out keys at her own discresion and at the same time telling people that she did not want there these properties are seperate and no longer share anything. In my book for a place that uses the phrase fair houseing act as much as the do shame on them!!!

The Cortina was a nice complex untill shortly after this manager stepped in and it has been steadly going down hill. There are way to many problems to list like break ins unusual traffic at all hours and it seems to be being ignored on all levels!! Thank you for the oppertunity to tell people about this and I hope someone will take notice.

They Do IT For The Money!!!!!!!

I am one of the many vendors in the multiple housing industry that is pleased to have Sentinel Properties as a client. They are a responsible, ethical company. Property managers are like managers anywhere. They have a number of superiors who dictate their expectations. Although I am not in property management, I do know that laws, city codes, and the demands of insurance companies change almost on a weekly basis. Implementing such sudden changes is always a public relations challenge to property managers. Also, I would imagine for every demand or complaint that a resident has, there are two more residents with opposite demands and complaints. Finally, judging from the misspelling and total lack of syntax in the author's complaint letter, I would recommend that he/she spend less time on such sites as this and spend some time on the computer actually learning something useful - such as how to express themselves in a semi-intelligent and professional manner.
