These guys are such dirtbags they file their own rebuttals and claim to be someone else. I am glad I have been able to help people avoid these crooks. If you enroll in a debt settlement program with the credit exchange your first three payments go right into paskvan and vanderhoof's pockets. Not 1 penny goes to your creditor's and half of the over all fees go to them as well. If you think these guys are trying to help you forget about it. These guys were involved in another scam together many years ago silver state trading which was eventually shut down as I hope the Credit Exchange will be as well. The owner of the company told me to my face that debt settlement does not work and is a complete scam.

Consumer's I know being in debt is scary and you just want a way out but Vanderhoof and Paskvan are scammers and will only make your situation worse. These clowns don't want to help you, they just want your money. The Credit Exchange provides no service at all. They will just forward your account to some sleazy company like hess-kennedy that will be shut down and all of the money that you put in will be lost. I hope This will save someone from being scammed by these 2 crooks. The feds need to shut these guys down. Ignore any rebuttals to this add as paskvan and vanderhoof are the ones responding under different names. 1 rebuttal said he worked there for 3 weeks and was fired but yet defends the company that fired him and knows everything about the company. Sounds fishy!

Complaint Description - Posted 3/30/2009 Summary - This company is not consumer-oriented. They're making contracts with no enough time to cancel or to get your money back. Initial Complaint I've talked with Michael Nguyen of The Credit Exchange extension 4272 last March 13, 2009, Friday. I signed a contract with him through the internet and got all my credit cards information. I spent like about one hour with him in the phone and afterwards they have recorded my voice in the phone asking me questions answered by yes or no. On March 20, 2009, they will automatic deduct the initial amount of $786.00 in our checking account because I told him I'll have funds that day. The deduction showed up on Mar. 23 in our checking account. I called Michael on Mar. 24 that I wanted to cancel our transaction because I changed my mind. On Mar. 25, I faxed a written cancellation request to them and they accepted the cancellation. I asked for a refund of my money since they haven't done any work yet and our transation just started. Michael transferred me to manager named Tim Garcia extension 331 and he said they can't give me any amount of refund because of the contract that I signed and the recorded voice. They're only after your money and not to satisfy the customer. They took $786.00 from me. If I'm earning $10 an hour, $786.00 divided by $10.00, it's two weeks of work that they rob from me. I just feel that I'm entitled for a refund and they don't want to give it to me. Resolution Sought I would like them to refund the amount of $786.00 they took from me. I'm just starting with them. I believe they didn't give me much time to cancel usually about a month. The contract that I'm signing wasn't explained to me. The voice recorder was fast that I didn't catch what the woman said about the cancellation of 5 days prior to March 20, 2009. In other words, they are only giving me 2 days to cancel which is within the weekend and that's not proper. They want to trap me and not get refund. Additional Information Date Problem First Occurred: 3/24/2009 Product or Service: Negotiate about interest and payment with creditors on unsecured loans Model Name or Number: NA Date Purchased: 3/13/2009 Order Number: NA Amount In Dispute: $786.00 ************************************************************* The above is an example of what happens daily at The Credit Exchange and they virtually take money from people who are already struggling financially.

Jim - You hit it right on the head again as all of these previous posts have done. Read the below to the individual in Manhattan: You were right on in all of your comments about the pushy sales reps. Unfortunately, many people in debt that call The Credit Exchange are not as savvy as you and are intimidated by these sales reps. These people are scammers and are under-the-gun to recruit people to sign up for debt programs in literally a 20-minute phone call. Any responsible individual that is serious about alleviating debt is going to do their homework, as you did. The Better Business Bureau should be the FIRST step in anyone going online to sign up for a debt program, regardless if the company is local or nation-wide. Kudos to you for doing your homework and sparing yourself a lot of grief and wasted money. These crooks need to be put out of business. The "debt counselors" are pressured to slam/dunk people regardless of what they are doing at the time of the phone call; they could be driving their car, at work literally in a meeting, having dinner with their family or in the hospital !! The only sword of defense is The Better Business Bureau. This is a legitimate company that has unsolicited complaints submitted to them. You Go Jim !!
