The Farm House Tack Shop uses Signifyd to process credit card transactions online. Judging by online reviews, Signifyd is not that reliable and flags legitimate purchase orders as "fraud". If you don't have a social media presence, or never had your email compromised -- and you will know this by the volumes of spam you receive -- then Signifyd can't "trace" you and then "flags" your legitimate purchase order so it doesn't go through. They then want you to give them MORE data like a different email address to process the transaction. In addition, if you place OUT OF STATE orders, there is also a good chance it will be "flagged" by Signifyd because they also trace IP addresses. YES, they want ALL your data! The Farm House Tack Shop is data farming the heck out of consumer citizens!

The SNEAKY PAY ISSUE with Signiyd and The Farm House Tack Shop. Even if your purchase doesn't go through, the purchase fund is still sent to The Farm House Tack Shop, where they KEEP IT. Yes, you heard it correctly. They KEEP THE MONEY WITHOUT SHIPPING THE PRODUCT. They tell the consumer to get a CHARGEBACK from the credit card company. What The Farm House Tack Shop doesn't do is reverse the charges on the purchase they NEVER planned to ship out. The funds clear the credit card company, the amount is deducted from the consumer's credit card account balance as a purchase and The Farm House Tack Shop tries to obstruct the credit card companies proceedings to get the money back by NEVER responding to any of their requests, while the consumer waits to get credit -- UNLESS you have an amazing lawyer!

The phishing process starts when they ask for another credit to start the purchase transaction all over again, EVEN THOUGH, payment had already been processed the FIRST time and the money deducted from the consumer's credit card account.

What consumer citizens need to know about CHARGE BACKS. This process occurs when there is legitimate fraud. That is to say that when a consumer's credit card was used to make a fraudulent purchase that the consumer did not know about. The consumer calls the credit card company and gets an immediate credit. This does not occur when the purchase was made legitimately by the consumer and the company refused to ship the product. Online purchase companies CAN AND OFTEN reverse charges for cancelled transactions BUT The Farm House Tack Shop just kept the money AND put the burden on the consumer citizen to get their own money back! Ironically, Vicky told the consumer to ask the credit card company for a charge back, since they weren't going to do anything, when the whole POINT of using Signifyd was to AVOID charge backs. This is clearly stated in Signifyd's marketing pieces.

Credit card companies are aware that legitimate purchases might be flagged (for whatever reason) so they advise merchants to contact them directly with the card owner(s) to clear up ANY misunderstandings. Credit card companies do this all the time between merchants and card holders, but for whatever reason (not given), The Farm House Tack Shop refused to do this, in particular by two employees, Clair and Vicky.

Vicky was asked to delete the account that was created for the order since they refused to ship the product. The consumer citizen also made it crystal clear there would be NO future business given to them after the poor performance by The Farm House Tack Shop, and of course she flat out refused. Lizzie and Michelle have been spamming consumer citizens ever since and even the ones who never signed up to receive emails!

Consumer Citizens have Rights BUT The Farm House Tack Shop was so offended by the suggestion that the Attorney General (AG) in SC would be contacted. Vicky took it as a "threat", as well she should as a DESPOT agent. The AG encourages all consumers to file a complaint. We started this latest complaint process on November 21, 2020.
