Hello Jose,I work for Home Depot and if you were charged 8 times either the cashier swiped your card 8 times or you are making this up and if you are not making this up then I'm sorry for what happened to you. It's not a rip-ff what happened was our computer declined the card while your bank processed the transaction. What you need to do is take the receipt to special services and tell them what happened. They then will have to look up the transaction and then look up the one before that transaction it will show a decline. But first call your bank and tell them that Home Depot declined it. What your bank will and should ask you to do is to have home depot call and confirm that it was declined after that your bank should reverse all the over charges after all home depot did not receive any money because the there is no transaction your money is in limbo. After you talk to your bank then go to Home Depot and do what I told you to do. Please be patient with the person you talk to because they probable never had to deal with something like this because it doesn't happen very often. Now I hope this helps you out and remember in the future if your card ever is decline by any store and you know you have the money in the bank to cover the charges. Call your bank and ask them what your last charge was for so if it happens again you can correct it right away. I know what I'm talking about because it has happened to my mom at my own store. She was declined three times because the cashier who was new swiped her card three times. And she paid cash after that. When she got home she called the bank and did what I told you to do. After talking to Bank of America she went back to Home Depot, and then Home Depot called the bank after that the charges were reversed. But from now on if any of us ever have a carded be declined we will call the back and see what was last charged.

In my case don't work, my first contact was the lost prevention person and after back and for of faxes, papers, phone call he don't do anything. Besides that a few weeks aga I got anothe call from Home Depot and they said that thay are going to take care of my problem and as of today nothing was done. AGAIN WHEN YOU USED YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD AT HOME DEPOT WE AWARE OF THE CHARGES IN YOUR BANK, BECAUSE THEY RIP-you OFF
