Lee W Papier is an individual who supposedly is running one of Dan Vega's Blue Star Business Institutes in Orange County CA. He also portrays himself as a motivator - his motto "To motivate, inspire and empower people to actualize their divine potential"
He gives you a sob story about how he lost a son and how, even though how difficult a time it was for them, he is still with his wife. How he wasn't running on 100% until he met Dan Vega, and how hundreds of thousands of dollars just appeared to him after attending a one day seminar. He will also tell you how he took a "risk" and got his friends involved. It's all bullshit!
This organization preys on individuals who are looking for work by posting job ads looking for PUBLIC SPEAKERS. They promise "training provided" in the ad. Shortly after sending them an email about your interest in the job, they then send you another email with the job positions and the amount of pay you will be earning ($2,500-$3,500 for 35 minutes of stage appearance) and ($100 dollars per head for their 4 day seminar; 60-80 people per class). Do the math. It's a lot.
They then followup with a phone call to you, telling you how excited they are to meet you and that Dan and his entourage will be in town at some hotel giving a one day business seminar one of which is entitled "How to Make Money in a Failing Economy" and you are invited to attend for free. Interviews will be conducted during the seminar or over lunch (which you have to buy).
None of this happens. What actually happens is you sit for over 13 hours listening to Dan Vega and Lee Papier name drop and they tell you how wonderful and smart they are. There are a few other clowns who give a speech using God and spirituality by the name of Antarctic Mike and Ed.
They have their right hand gal, Margo Bush who purports to be a publisher! It really is a top of the line scam.
After sitting for over 13 hours in one of these seminars, he tells the people who applied for the Public Speakers position to move up their seats. Dan and Lee then begin to knock public speakers positions (they're a dime a dozen) and then they tell you what jobs are available within their organization. There is the fill-in public speaker, the class room instructor, OR starting up one of their franchises, no money down. Dan stating how generous he is and what a few million dollars when I have so much, will only take 40% of your monthly earnings and you get to keep 60% until the $250,000 is paid off. Now isn't that generous? How can you turn down a proposition like that, he said to everyone.
Here is the catch, which you don't find out until the next day when you schedule a one on one because they already had you sitting there for 13 hours. Training is provided at a cost of $6,000!!! Now why didn't they say that in the first place? Why did they waste your time? Why did they lead you to believe this was an actual job?!
There were over 50 people who where "small business owners" or people who were out of work and looking for a decent paying job. They all looked like dogs in heat, riveted on every word that came out of their mouths only to find out, they would have to part with $6,000 in order to even be considered for the "public speakers" position.
When they balked at this, they used techniques like, Now, if you want this bad enough, you'll find a way to get the money. Maybe if you ask God, He will make it happen. They used examples of themselves, which now you can take with a grain of salt, of how they suddenly found the money to attend their business school and look how well they are doing!
This was misleading to some if not all people who attended. I feel it is my duty to warn people of these scammers. Read other reports on Dan Vega and his international company. Any good comments are made from people who work for him, or are in on the scam. They try to tell you we are people who don't want to work, want things handed to us for free, etc, etc. This is how they operate!
Don't waste your time or your money on these guys. I was "unfriended" on facebook when I commented on some posts, posts that I also wrote..how excited I was to meet them and couldn't wait to work with them...hahahahahha!! Yes, I was fooled and now I must let others know before they sell everything they own to attend a bogus school with the promise of becoming a millionaire in 12 months...don't you think if that was true, EVERYONE WOULD BE DOING IT???!! The only one making any money on this deal is Dan Vega and the crooks that follow him!

I was courced into writing the "Eating Crow" piece...I only did it because Lee found out who I was and continually called me on the phone..He continued to bug me until I finally wrote the piece..I needed him to stop calling me at odd hours of the day and night.
I see Lee has said he is no longer with Dan Vega, and it's because Dan is being investigated along with all his cohorts! I see how loyal Lee is now that the tables have turned..isn't the internet wonderful!!? I recently received an email entitled "Dan Vega" and I started laughing when I read the first couple of lines..finally, the law has caught up with these scammers!
Anyone who has defended Lee or Dan or Margo or any of the so-called speakers, has been someone who was either paid to make a good comment or they were friends of these crooks.
I take back everything I said in the "Eating Crow" report..and stand by my original report.
Shame on you Lee..using your dead son to scam others..or do you even have a dead son?

No matter how many PAID admirers that show up it's PLAINLY a Hustle.
By the way, that picture only needs bars to look like a real picture on a wanted poster.

I have been in the business world for over 50 years and have met and seen a lot of people who claim to help people.
Lee Papier is the real deal. Even though I am older and have more business experience than Lee, he has helped me more than most any one in my career.
He is indeed a Mega coach in the best sense of the word and a real professional.
I would recommend him to any one and the only people who may not think he is for real are those who don`t know him.
It is interesting that the lady who wrote such a negative article about Lee and his affiliation with Dan Vega, responded with a clear new perspective after speaking with Lee.
I realize that when we hear a story that sounds too good to be true, we often mis-judge the person and the opportunity.
If I was starting or in a business, I would not hesitate to attend Lee`s seminar and utilize him as my Mega coach.
He is one of the most qualified and giving persons I know, and I recommend him without reservation.

It has been my personal and professional experience that Lee Papier is a man of unmatched integrity and honor. On countless occasions he has been there for me on multiple levels.

I must admit that I was sounding a little dissed in the above "original report"; I was so disappointed that this opportunity wasn't what I thought it would be; key word here is "thought". What I can say though is their way of interviewing people is unconventional. It wasn't the type of interview I'm used to attending.
So, I got to thinking. Just because things didn't work out like I thought they would, why am I sounding so "bitter" if you will? I actually disappointed myself. I never write stuff on the internet about other people; I keep my opinions to myself unless someone asks me for my opinion.
After more research, as well as speaking to Mr Papier several weeks later, I realized that this man really is who he says he is; fair, honest, sincere. And it wasn't just speaking to him again but also explaining myself and my anger and disappointment to several other people who are associated with Dan Vega and Blue Star Business Institute. These people are really geniune. They want people to succeed. They all have integrity that you don't find in many people. And I totally get it now.
When you are passionate about what you do and you want to share it with others, you surround yourself with like-minded people. They share in your enthusiam and all they are telling you is, you too, can have this..so why not grab it! You don't get something for nothing.
So my misunderstanding was about the franchise portion of this "job interview" I thought I was on. Remember, they emailed me two positions that were available but after the seminar, Dan mentioned the franchise opportunity. So, my interest was for all three. When I returned the next day, it was to discuss being a franchise, not a public speaker. I thought I had to pay for my "training" as a public speaker, when all I have to do for that is send in a tape of myself speaking on a subject. This is what was made clear to me when discussing my disappoint at length with Lee. The fact that the man even called me, took guts; and I admire that in a person.
Will I apply for a public speaking position with them? I might. Will I get it? Only God knows!
