Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was employed by The Mobile Solution from December of 2003 to March of 2005,during which they stole THOUSANDS from me over the course of 16 months.

Later to find out that the regional managers and market directors, laughed at the meetings about how "they were going to have so much fun spending the sales reps money at strip clubs" and, that "It's alot of fun to steal money from sales reps paychecks."

After finally threatening the VP of the company, I was cut a check for the total amount, never will I waste my breath laughing out how ****** that company is again.

The Mobile Solution is the worst company ever created. Pat Jackson is a moron so is all of upper management. The company is a rip off and should be put of business by the Attorney General. How many times can they let employees steal phones comitt credit card fraud before someone does something. Please report this company to the DA office.

First off you guys are complaining to make 50 bucks off an activation, thats they highest paid commission structure for any mobile sales company. The fact is that TMS gives out the most commision than any company out there. OK and i know this for a fact, sprint corporate and kiosk with next only pay like 35 bucks for the higest plan sold, the average is 20 dollars, trust me i know cause my best friend is a sprint manager. Also cingular only pays out like 15 bucks for activiations, ok every tms kiosk shows the comparison commision chart with all the companies, tms pays for than anyone, you know the most popular plan is the 39.99 plan and you make 45 bucks off that, thats good, plus the spiffs, if your a good salesman then that should be easily made, as a salesrep in the east florida market, i made a good 45 to 50 thousand a year as a sales rep and as a dm closer to the 6 figures, so yes dm's and regionals if they are good can make 6 figures, there are reps that can make 6 figures. And you say you threatned Pat Jackson for money he stole lol, i bet, i have partied with Pat a numerous of times, Pat would not feel threatned from you, specially just a sales rep, i assume you sucked as one because if you worked 16 months as a rep and not get promoted you really sucked, so i really doubt u threatned patty j, and never once at corporate meetings did rm and md's laught at stealing money from reps, its impossible, there is a completely different department that does payroll, so i guess ur saying payroll gives the rm's and md's the money? ok i think you have your head up your a**

Easy there killer. Ok, wait.. you worked for mobile solution for 3 years and you don't even know who the vp of the company is? Wow, you must be pretty high up the food chain there amy.... what are ya, a sales rep assistant? Listen,.. all i wanted to say was that mobile solution is a poorly run business that steals money from their employees. You'll see that one day when you wise up a little. The Mobile Solution in Kingston, MA is evil. If a customer wanted to upgrade one line on their family plan, the rep would upgrade all lines on a free flip phone, then call customer care afterwards and say they made a mistake and to cancel those 4 other upgrades. From there, the reps would scratch off the IMEI numbers on the phones, and sell them for personal profit. One rep was even fired for this but it continued, even by our managers. On numerous occasions, I witnessed reps charging additional activation fees of $35, $75, and even $115 in cash. Then they would pocket the money. I was fired from the company for not being a complete idiot I suppose. I was constantly tormented by my coworkers, especially Luke.

I am currently a Store Manager for one of the locations and let me tell you!!! The company does demand a lot of everyone that works here that is 100% true! I think Brian mentioned that they cut the pay instead of cutting stores. True again. But does Brian realize that in the commission world you are paid on performance??? If anyone knows anything about the company they have seen that there have been a dip in overall numbers, when this happened why would the carriers continue to pay the company the same amount??? Some of the employees, ex employees have mentioned that they get paid dirt and they could get more at McDonalds. I'd ask yourself if you were doing your job? If you walk around and not sell you aren't going to get paid, its that simple. Other people were saying that the compay is paid 275 to 325 per phone activated. Probably true, they pay us 45-55 of that true again. What those people do not realize is that some of that money goes to rent, electric, internet, sales people making hourly, Management salaries. That money goes to building the company, the local corp office and the sec that works there. The payroll employees, and the difference in the actual phone price and what you sell it for! There are bonuses that are paid on that commission which only is paid if certain goals are hit. Try working at another dealer and see what they pay you, if they do pay more see how long they stay open. The TMS rebates, yeah usually a joke, but they are paid out how about explaining to your customers proper procedures on receiving their money and if they don't forward the name to your regional! DBC someone said 100% profit, yeah mostly, but so is the protection that is paid for on the bill every month. The only time it isn't profit is if they use the plan! Now I will say that the company should maybe answer a phone when someone is trying to make a claim. They still have huge mountains to climb with customer service but as I was told on a recent visit by my National, we are in the sales business not the customer service business. What some of the employees that do not make it in this company do not understand is we are not a corporate dealer. You are not going to get paid to handle customer problems, what you should do is make sure that customer knows what you did to them to begin with! I will agree with most people that we may stretch things to make a sale. I never lie! But I have told many customers that I could increase their minutes if they add lines. I will tell you this that customer walks away knowing everything I did to the account! They walk away happy! There are a ton of things that would make this company better yeah, and there are truths in what everyone of you are saying. Although I would ask everyone of you to work at some of the other dealers I have and then complain! Wouldn't happen! There are people in the company that are dishonest, but so is Martha Stewart! You have to realize that the company is newer, and was built by 1 guy. Not everything will be right. But to have 400+ and there is only this amount of complaints? Sounds like a good thing to me!

Amy your comments are definitely not credible. This company is defintely going down hill they have cut the salary of the management staff instead of cutting non producing stores. If I was the owner thats what I would have done. Why punish hard working people for the stupidity of others? This company has gotten to big for their own good. I wish nothing but bad luck for this company in the future. They don't know how to treat people right. What company doesn't give their employees vacation. Illegal immmigrants make more money then half the sales associates. So Amy get your head on and realize you're brain washed by a cult. Believe me the grass is greener on the other side. Take it from me I just left and I feel like a million dollars. If you stay good luck you will need it. ATLANTA GA

Are you really going to tell me that you worked for the company and they took thousands of dollars for you and then you threatened the VP and received a check in the mail!! WOW. I really feel bad for you. Who did you threaten Mike Brad Kevin no probably John McEvoy right??? I don't think they would return your calls. First off why would you continue to work for a company that takes money from you? If that was happening for 16 months that is your problem that you didn't take care of that earlier. I have worked for the company for 3 years and I have never had a problem with my pay checks. As far as the Atlanta UM going to strip clubs with the money, I do agree that is sad. While working for the company for so long you must have noticed that sometimes the wrong people get promoted, or even hired with the company. Obviously there isn't anything that can be done expect stop it when we find the problem. That is probably while they are not longer employed with the company. If you would have worked in a top market, with honest people you might have a different outlook on the company; with 3600 employees you will find a few bad apples.

I agree you need to beware

#12UPDATE EX-employee responds

As an ex employee I am warning perspective employees or potential customers to beware when they apply for a phone or a job. The Mobile Solution claims to pay their customers for rebates that they will never receive. They have this insurance protection program against your phone do not sign up its a scam. When I was with the company they called it the phone in the closet. When you make a cash transactions you can't get your money back right away they will cut you a check that they say takes 7-21 business days to arrive. They is not the case I cant tell you how many times a customer came back to the store looking for their money. If you do an upgrade they will charge you a processing fee (renewal fee) TMobile corp doesn't. They will try to sell you accessories that cost the company $3 for $30. The Mobile Solution makes promises to employees that they can never live up to. They talk a big game but don't back it up. They will tell you that you will be a manager or a regional manager and keep doing what your doing. The promotion never comes. When you do leave the company all they do is slander your name throw you dirty looks. They will constantly change they pay structure. When hired they tell you will have a weeks vacation at one year of employement this is not correct only "upper management" has vacation time. They expect you to work 9-9 for hardly any pay. They pay minimum wage vs commision. You can find a better job a Mcdonalds. The company is comprised of total morons with no intellectual knowledge and most likely can't even pass a high school exam. They will you curse words to get their point across. To put it simply it's like working in jail. You will have no time for anything. They expect you to work like a dog for no pay.

As a former Market Director with TMS, I have to admit Hunter has a right to be angry although his comments may be unfounded. In fact, Hunter used to work for me directly, and I definately understand his anguish. TMS is a bunch of two-faced liars. The majority of the company would sacrifice all ethics, integrity, and morals to brown nose their superiors. My decision to finally leave TMS was because I could not stand to work for such an unethical company anymore. When I left TMS, I did it the right way. I was respectful to the company and respectful to the person who was about to take my place. I spoke to my former employees and talked up my successor in order to maintain everyone's attitude and not have everyone resign. In return, I have my former employees calling me daily letting me know about how the "new regime" is defaming me, my character, and my intergrity. Not only am I being defamed, but I am being slandered daily to my former employees and friends. I guess my point is that TMS as a company is an absolute joke, and in my new life I can only sit back and laugh as I hear the complaints from current employees on a daily basis. If you are a current employee, I know TMS inside and out. They've broken your confidence and spirit, and you think there is nowhere else to go. Just leave. There are better opportunities out there in better companies. If you are a consumer, do your homework before buying from TMS. You might get your credit and life ruined. Joe-New Jersey
