Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

In late Dec. 2018 I took my cat to this facility. He had prior been diagnosed with Stomatitis --a dental disease that is both painful, and expensive to treat.

Im a Senior on limited income, and after phoning front desk to inquire if they treated this AND do dental Xrays I was assured they have treated many cats with Stomatitis AND do the needed dental Xrays. At the initial appointment I requested that they pull ALL TEETH since both the diagnosing Vet AND reading many, many, articles online- that this is the standard procedure ALONG with GETTING ALL ROOTS OUT to sucessfully treat this problem. Remaing teeth and roots both allow infection to stay and flourish.

So I now borrow over $500.00 to get my poor cat  of.  At picking cat up after surgery, imagine my shock at finding he STILL has his canines and the other teeth between left in mouth. At his check-up I asked why they DID NOT PULL ALL TEETH AS REQUESTED and was told "IT Wasnt Needed!!

I was ONLY told that this illness takes a long time to go away.....I was also told by Mgr. Alexa  (and it was noted in records) that they would cover--pull any remaining teeth if necessary.

Since my poor cats mouth never seemed to heal--and now in Feb. it is obvious he has red swelling at teeth left behind,  I try to take cat back to be rechecked and get rest of teeth pulled as it should have been done in first place.

Im shocked AGAIN as I drive up to find gate locke, phone disconnected, and website gone. I now have to borrow MORE money to take my cat to another Vet to get this UNCOMPLETED MESS taken care of. Rember they had been FULLY PAID AND Written That they would PULL REMAINING TEETH IF NEED BE---AND IT WAS !!

It is written on YELP that they PLAN to re-open end of April, but who really knows, and my poor cat could not wait--He can barely eat!

I have since had the remaining teeth pulled at A COMPETENT VET -PLUS- ALL THe REMAINING ROOTs that WERE LEFT in sockets causing infection!!

Just As I had Been Told Prior AND Read ---that Remaing Teeth and Roots Will Allow Infection To Flourish!!  If they had bothered to do the dental X-rays (Maybe they dont even really do them ??)  They would have seen what they missed!

I feel that they not only did Imcompetent, Shoddy Work, BUT I NOW WONDER HOW MANY OTHER PETS HAVE SUFFERED NEEDLESSLY AT THIS PLACE ??

* Is Joy Anderson DVM--the owner ?? On several sites she is listed as * CEO.    Is *P.C.C. a legit Non Profit --501 c 3  as stated on business card ??

On Yelp and other websites there are several clients voicing complaints and concerns over left in midle of services, cant get their pets cremains etc., etc., It is also stated that the business was "SHUT DOWN" Did the City pull Business License ?  Did DVM Anderson have her actual practicing licensed pulled ?? Everything is hush hush for some reason.

I hope this place is NEVER Allowed to Reopen With Same Owner(s) CEO, Vets and I encourage anyone else with concerns to file not only here but with THE CALIFORNIA VETERINARIAN MEDICAL BOARD. in Sacramento. Ca.
