I use email addresses with a numerical suffix. I bump them about every 6 months, and use the older of the two for business correspondence and the newer for personal email. The newer one almost never gets any spam, the older one eventually will and will get retired. I had a very negative transaction with twister group where they did a bait and switch selling a printer with a superior model in the description so that people doing a web search for the superior product would get a hit on the cheaper product and be scammed. I posted to several sites such as cnet, epinions, ripoffreport, etc. A complaint to paypal got my money back. Twistergroup then insisted I remove my postings, and attempted extortion with a threat to submit the refunded money to a collection agency. I asked them what they wanted to retract and said that I wouldn't lie for them. They then manufactured $110 in false charges and submitted it to a credit agency -- $120 for a $70 printer! Within ten days I started receiving an unreal amount of pornographic spam and my personal email address also has been bombarded. I've been using older/newer aliases for 15 years and never had both bombarded except when I refused to retract my postings about the twister group. I don't visit porn sites. Twister group impersonated me and visited enough of them to cause me to receive dozens of pornographic spams a day. I have no doubt whatsoever that the twister group is responsible for the spam.

The whole complaint is completely untrue. We do not charge restocking fee for defective products. That is a false accusation. What she was demanding is FULL refund which we never offer. Shipping is non-refundable as with majority of online stores. As far as calling names, this customer first called our company a$$, stupid, etc.. Also posted our personnel's contact information. Used profanities. We just replied that would refrain from serving Jennifer Bettano at that location/city to warn other merchants. Our store generally has a decent reputation (4 out of 5). Generally higher than larger brand name stores. The major complaint is that shipping is non-refundable even if product is defective. Well, this policy is clearly posted. We do not hide our Terms and Conditions. If a customer prefers to pay more at stores that build potential return expenses into their prices, that's where shopping needs to be done, instead of complaining afterwards.
