I purchased a Thermospa in August of 2003, it was delivered 10/31/03. Since then major component have been replaced, such as motors,control panels, water tubing, heaters, manifolds, Ozonators. The unit would shut off during use, and shut off during a cold Chicago winter. Thermospa took no concern that this unit would freeze and become useless if frozen. Still contending nothing was defective. This took place within a 5 month period.

Also adding that sales person advised this system did not use Chlorine of which I have an allergy to. To make tub sanitized to their levels the use of Chlorine is needed every day. Due to the leaking of motors, tubing and manifolds, cabinet of the unit is molding, rusting and rotting. Thermospa refuses to address this situation.

I have been in contact with the Connecticut BBB, and the National Consumer Safety persons. At the moment the CT BBB is just passing letters that do not resolve the situation, the warranty is due to expire soon and based on purchasing a "NEW" spa at the cost of over 11,000.00 it would be fair to say this unit was defective upon leaving the factory. Thermospa's reaction is all is fixed so it was not defective. I am also in the process of contacting the States Attorney's offices of CT. to investigate this company for selling defective goods.
