I purchased a refurbished Google Nexus with 2 rebates, $60 and $30. The item came wrapped in plastic with no packaging and hence no UPC bar code. I called tigerDirect, they asked me to contact refurbished items supplier - nothing came out of it. Then they asked me to contact rebate center, which is another company, again no result. They got me going in circles. By the way, customer service for all the 3 companies suck beyond belief. I honestly dont understand how they are still in business. They make you wait at least 1/2 hour, sometimes with answering machine, sometimes the call just drop, and so on and so on.

In the end I got so mad, I called tigerDirect and told them I was returning the item. Then their tone suddenly changed, and they told me to submit the claim without UPC and contact TIgerDirect when the claim was rejected. It has been over a month and I am calling again and again and they are sending me back and forth, telling me different things every time. I have wasted countless hours trying to get my rebate. Usually I dont go this far and just give up , and thats exactly what they are trying to do. I regret why I didnt return the item. I am never doing business with TigerDirect again.
