Time To Move Delayed delivery for over one month and counting. Rip-off! Chicago Illinois
Help!!!
I recently moved from Hampton, VA to El Paso, TX and hired what I thought was a moving company to do my move... It so happens that they were only a broker and they subcontracted my move to a company called Universal Moving and Storage in Miami, Fl. After picking up my belongings (a day late) Universal subcontracted the delivery of my belongings to another company called Time to Move based out of Chicago.
Time to Move has had my belongings for over a month and I have had to contact on several occasions to find any information on the status of my belongings. On two occasions they told me that my shipment would be there the following day, but they have never showed or even called to provide explaination for the continuing delay. As of today, I still don't know where my things are and they are not receiving my calls. I have made numerous calls to them to no avail. The dispatch Dept is always closed and no representatives available. I don't know what to do...
This company needs to be liable for their actions... can anybody provide any info on some courses of action that I can take against this company... They shouldn't be able to get away with this. They should have delivered my belongings three weeks ago. Thanks in advance for your help..
