Kim do you think the original writer was "Ripped Off"? The only point I'm trying to make is this; Writting a letter to a web site called "Rip Off Report" indicates you've been ripped off. If while adjusting a metal screw in a "plastic" nut or adjuster and the plastic breaks doesn't mean the customer was ripped off. In most cases the plastic adjusters are supplied only by dealers. Have you ever tried to order a small part from a dealer. The adjusters cost a dollar or so. They take a short time to put in. Some times I think this web site should be called, "Venting" instead of "Rip off report". I've read so many letters on this site that are "crazy" to say the least. IE had my oil changed now 6 months later I have a coolant leak. I'm not saying that the shop couldn't have done a better job with the problem. I'm saying car owners need to be more realistic sometimes.

Frank's response was a totally unnecessary display of the type of attitude that all these customer's are complaining about! All this customer wanted was to have the small (yes, plastic) part replaced that an employee at Tires Plus had broken. Had this minor detail been attended to, there would be no greivance and Tires Plus would still have a customer who would be willing to do business with them in the future. To speak to a customer as if they were an idiot, or to imply that their car is old is certainly not something you'd expect from management (Frank is an EX employee - for a good reason!!) and I would not return to ANY business that treated me in such a manner!
