Bought a 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio that was supposed to be Certified according to VW standards over 100 items ckd.Feb.1,2006. By Feb 2 2006 found 5 items wrong with the car. On Feb 6 2006 the car was taken to the dealer to have items fixed.Car was returned on Feb.13 2006.On Feb 17 2006 it had to be taken to the dealer again for the same problem car returned Feb 22 2006.
Several days later the car had to be taken back to dealer for one of the previous problems, today is March 15 2006 and the car is not yet fixed. In 45 days that have owned car have been able to use it for maybe 7 days.After trying to get a manager to help
me for more than a month finally one called me and basically said to sue the dealership.I have contacted VW America and they basically said to work out the problem with the dealer.Have contacted the B.B.B. and they have not been of any help.Contacted the Florida dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services they refered me to Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.I had enough I am looking for a new car to buy my wife and have no use for that uncertified Volkswagen from Tom Bush Regency Motors and want my money back.I even offered them to take the car back and I would buy a new one , they said gladly but for $4000 less than what I paid for it.Well in my book to missrepresent goods as certified and not being the case it is fraud which last time I heard was a criminal act.

Tom Bush Volkswagen in Jacksonville Florida kept certified car in shop so long that I had to buy my wife another car so Im stuck with the car from Tom Bush that my wife hates and I can not drive because it is too small for me and if I sell will loose my shirt.

Had to take the car back to the dealer because the top was still leaking. Took the car in Feb 24 2006 they had it ready March 21 2006 . That was almost a month.They replaced one of the gaskets and had to send it to the body shop for adjustment, maybe the car had been in an accident? and the body had to be straightened? Well my wife needles to say by now hates the car that she has owned for almost 8 weeks and maybe used for 1 week. I tried to trade the car at Tom Bush VW for a new Bug Convertible and was told they could take it in for $4000 less than what I had paid for it 2 weeks before The salesman Richard Turpen who told me that Tom Bush was different from other dealers because their Certified car where really certified. But mine was not after $5258.92 in repairs , now 2 weeks after I had bought the car is telling me that I would be amazed at the rate that used cars depreciate well $ 4000 in 2 weeks. Yesterday March 22 2006 I took the VW Cabrio to another dealer to trade it in for a new Bug Convertible well surprise 8 weeks later the car was worth $8000 less . Now I believe the salesman from Tom Bush. Used Volkswagens really depreciate a lot. Dont know what Im going to do with a car that I cannot trade in because to do that I have to give the car that I put $4000 down and fork another $4000 to cover the depreciaton. Tom Bush: you should be ashamed of how you treat your customers, for me :I will tell about my experience with you till the day I die. And its not over yet because I will try every recourse I can think of including taking you to court , the media , pickets and everything the law will allow me to do so that other people do not have the bad experience YOU TOM BUSH made me go thru. To the world I want to let know that I have documented everything I have stated in this web Page.Thank you all for letting me vent my anger and frustation.Be looking forward to finding other TOM BUSH victims to file a class action suit.
