Trafalger Group ripoff lending company who prey on those with bad or no credit Internet
Company solicits business from those with bad or no credit. I looked at their website and it seemed official, especially when I read the various state mortgage license numbers.
In my case, I applied for a personal loan. I received via email a commitment letter for $15,000 (the amount I reqeusted). The commitment required private mortgage insurance due to my bad credit. I was asked to send $1980.00 via money gram to an individual in St. Louis Missouri.
I was assured my loan proceeds would be wired within two hours of receipt of the insurance money. Needless to say, I sent the Money gram on 12/15 and am still waiting. The money was actually picked up in Canada (per Money Gram) and I realize I am part of a large scam. The larger surprise is that I filed reports with the FBI, FTC, State of Maryland and no one has done anything to shut this bogus operation down. One of these entities passed my report to my local police department (Montgomery County MD) who promptly told me that it was not in their jurisdiction. Can anyone help me? Is there any way to get my money back??
