Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Two weeks ago I was aproached by an individual in the park near my house. I was walking my dog and he stoped to ask me about my pet (Chi CHi). Now its common for other animal lovers to often stop and talk about thier pets. Eventually he asked me if I had ever though about getting my pet into some animal magazines.

When I asked how he replied that he worked for a talent agency and that Chi Chi had a great look! I was so excited! I was invited to bring Chi Chi to an open call to show him to the staff thier to be evaluated for possible representation. When I got home I checked out the website TCTalent.com and was curious as to why thier was no advertising for pets thier, but since it looked like a reputable company (Discovered Backstreet Boys, Nysnc, etc. I figured that little CHi CHi had a shot!

I arrived around 6:30, thier was only one other person thier and they had a pet monkey with them dressed in an outfit. His name was coconut. I Started to get really excited, but soon that all came to an end. We were brought into a very large room where they asked to see my dogs teeth and further asked for some commands to see if it took direction well because if Chi Chi got any jobs direction is the most important thing.

Then we watched a videeo with some people and thier pets giving testimonials ( including a member of the back street boys with a potbelly pig _) the fotage was badly edited and when i asked a few questions the presenter said that if I had questions they were not to be asked here and that it was very un professional. So i got up and walked out.

I just want to warn everyone that if you are out with your pets and are aprroched by a pet scout, beware. Best of all they wanted $2000 to put the dog on the site, with video footage and I would also get a free personlized tctpets dog bowl.

If I run into one of them again I am going to let Chi CHi take a bite!!!

I was looking for a job in production at Monster.com. I submitted 40-50 resumes and this company, TCT, was one of those that responded. I did some research and found this site. I backed out of the interview...THANKS!!! I once worked for a similar company, Print Models Network. The difference was that PMN actually got the clients working as extras in TV, Music Videos, and Movies to make their money back.(They originally charged $395 which included a photo shoot, registration costs for extra agencies). They also sent people out on auditions for Print, TV Music Videos, Movies, and Modeling gigs! Anyone can do extra work and make money...I did..I worked 3 years straight as an extra and was in 200+ movies and tv shows. I met lots of cool stars doing it, not to mention BABES!!! As an extra, I saw many people "Get Lucky" and receive their SAG eligiblity by getting a line, being a stand-in, getting 3 Union Extra Vouchers (When SAG extras don't show up, the production must give those vouchers out to meet their SAG contract for a certain number of Union scale extras), or by having direct interaction with one of the principle actors..ie.they touch you or fall in your lap or something like that. I myself got my SAG card from Chuck Norris, due to the fact that I can use the Nunchakus very well. [DELETED]is now allowing members to join free, work immediately, and pay after receiving money for their jobs. They are one of the very few companies that I think has a better reputation. Obviously, not everyone who tries to become a "Working" actor will succeed. If you don't try, you won't fly...but you must be careful and you must be self motivated and not give up becuase there is a lot of rejection in this business. I have been to auditions where I thought I was great...No Callback {:-( Then I've been to auditions where I thought the guy before me or after was great...yet I got the job!!!? Who's to say. I have used my own motivation to keep busy...I constantly called the extras agencies to see what was available (many have call in lines with recordings for that day or week)(the best is Central Casting and Cenex)...I did not use a calling service to do my bookings, they are motivated by relationships and friendships...they get you a few jobs...then no more. I would meet the stars and crew members. (I was told that I couldn't be talking to them, it's against the rules...they can kiss my #**). Doing this got me work on the crews as a PA (Production Assistant), then in the Art department, then Grips, then Electrical, then 2nd AD (Assistant Director)(it's not like being the real Director), then I worked my way into Producer!!! I am now listed on the IMDB.com database and have Produced 6 films. I have now hired writers to create scripts from my stories which I will produce and direct and OWN!!! I do beleive that if you truly beleive in yourself and don't listen to the negative BS about how hard it is to break in, you will eventually be recognized as a persistant person... oh yeah, always work on your skills! But don't be a sucker!! Don't listen to those other extras on the sets that'll say "I can get you work in the future". Always have your defenses up and fight for your rights...

I'm not saying this isn't true, but after I read it I called my local transcontinental talent office in seattle and asked them about bringing my pet in and they laughed. they got the office director on the phone who put me on a 3-way call to their corporate head office in florida and they said they'd never heard of pets being scouted. so just wanted to give a heads up. fyi. peace

Yes, sad but true! I worked for the company for 8 months before I had enough sence to quit! As for animal scouting, I have never heard of any TCT offices doing that, however I would not put it past them! They would do anything to make a buck off of someone. AMERICA BE WARE!!!!!!!!

I have never read a more poorly written piece of trash in all my life. I have just gone to work for this company and am very umimpressed with your selection of things to publish.
