Transformation Studios Cathy A. Crume Did not perform pursuant to verbal and written contract San Ramon, California
Cathy A. Crume, dba Transformation Studios, contracted with me on 10/26/06 to refinish my kitchen cabinets. She was paid$4,105.98 on that date.
Within six months the paint began to chip and wear away in the areas where a door meets the cabinet. The drawers do not slide in and out since she removed them to paint. The same is true of the cabinets.
I called the number on the contract but it was disconnected. I found a website for T.S., and discovered her sister on said website, who is in No. Carolina, doing the same business. She told me Cathy is now doing murals.
I explained the problem to her and asked her to give Cathy the message. She said she would, and I have never heard from her.
I have looked on the web and in phone books for any listings under her name and "Murals" to no avail.
My kitchen is a mess. The "touch up" paint she left does not match! There was no top coat applied, obviously, although the contract specifies that said top coat is resistant to stains and is exceptionally durable. Not so.
I want to contact her, at least get a viable address, and take her to small claims court to be compensated for the disaster she created.
