We had established that IIG Promotions indeed do not have the best price code as you had advertise. While speaking with you, we had checked two bookings on the Carnival Web page and you have agreed that IIG does not have the best price code! Leah, IIG is not going to get the best price code from Carnival or any other cruise line!
It is very unfortunate for me and for your other customers needing to go thruough so much trouble just to request/get our Refundable deposit back. Since you had my money and you also have my customer info/id, yet you still require a signed letter requesting refund. This is a validation of IIG's substandard customer service. No wonder there are so many complaints all over the web about IIG and Infinity travel.
I had followed the instruction on getting a refund on April 14, 2014 as follows: "Mail (postal) in a letter with primary certificate holders signature, include your pin number or member number. Refunds are processed in the order they are received and may take up to 8 weeks - ATTN: REFUND PO BOX 3479 Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405, If you would like to know your status of your refund please call customer service @ 866-653-2139.
Nine weeks later (July 2014)I called 866-653-2139 was told "It is still in processing, I had called too early. Just be patient!"
Today is September 8, 2014 still no refund! So I called again at 1:50PM as usual was on hold for 28 minutes! I was told "We had a glitch in our system, we will expedite your refund check of $100, you should be receiving it by the end of this week or early next week. Yes, I am still waiting!
