I just want to warn people who make the mistake of going to an interview with this company. They lie over the phone and in their comments.

I was told the job was a training & development manager. It is nothing but 100% commission and MLM-pyramid scheme.

They will lie and stop at nothing to get you to join. I found it interesting (after the fact) that the Rocky Mountain alliance uses the same garbage approach as this one (if i knew about them before i went to the interview) i would have never gone.

Trek alliance is a break off business started by co founders of equinox after is was shut down for the same shady business as trek alliance is currentley being investigated for. Yes you heard that right TREK ALLIANCE is under investigation all assests have been frozen and there may be a refund in your future. (THIS MAY NOT APPLY TO ALL) When i say i have to agree and disagree mean yes they are shady. They lure you in thinking that you are getting a job by pulling your resume off the internet. If you aren't comfortable doing telemarketing jobs then you won't make a dime. Because thats what it is. Its based off of sales and if you can't sell you aren't making any money. In order for you to make money you have to put 100% of your time and effort into and get a phone in the office and work 24-7 getting sales and warm sales as they put it because you make money off of the people you bring in. I am sorry to see the products go they are truely wonderful and the best i have come across yet. Its the one water filter that actually works for sink and shower. you are the best person to know if you can afford something or not. Starting a business takes a lot of time, money, and effort only those who truely want it will make it which is why they always by into that happy bull crap. If you have gone into an interview you know what i am talking about everyone acting happy and upbeat 24-7 if you don't stay in that frame of mind its easy to lose site of the goal... hopefully hearing they are under investigation will bring you some joy... sorry you didn't have luck in the company

#3Consumer Suggestion

It appears that the objection to Bay State Alliance and other advertising agencies I have recently learned about is their lack of disclosure. They are vague when discussing the terms of employment to candidates. When people respond to a job posting in a classified ad, they are generally searching for a position that includes a salary and benefits. These ad agencies seem to be luring candidates with promises of money, promotions and power with no financial commitment to employees--no salary no benefits, no risk for them. So my advice to these companies is to stop the "hard sell" technique for recruiting, and my advice to prospective employees is to never commit to a job until you learn all you can about the company, and if the hiring manager does not clearly answer your questions about salary and benefits...BEWARE!

Trek Alliance is a phenomenal company but not everybody is motivated to be better than average

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Joe Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: It would've been an intelligent comment if he had made some sense in it. He acts as if someone would've made him stay there or made him do anything. Trek Alliance is a phenomenal company but not everybody is motivated to be better than average. Look in the mirror and blame yourself for your misfortune, obviously writing to this report summarises your exciting life. You made a decision and you are probably somebody who failed to have the work ethic to make it happen. The company or the reps never say it is easy to do because I am a customer and if you used the products or tried anything you would know what they stand for. Nobody asks you to do anything but get a starter kit because we are regulated by the federal government. So this is complete nonsense and it is an organization where if you are motivated and willing to learn a little more than the average person then you can get some great results. I use the products and refer them to everybody I know. They are great! I am really sorry that you were unmotivated and couldn't make peanut butter out of peanuts. Simple system and simple steps but it is hard to be above average, or else everybody would do it. So stop using up all of your energy to bash the company and bash people to take advantage of an opportunity that could help them out on whatever level of interest they desire. You are not mislead and you have the opportunity to leave if it wasn't something that you want to persue. Why aren't people skeptical of corporate America, that is what is failing everybody right now, isn't it? Nice comfortable life and then 30 years with them and they write you off. Control your own life...
