TRISTAR PRODUCTS pasta pot ripoff WALLINGFORD Connecticut
I ordered a set of Pasta Pots special on TV 1lg pot, l small pot and a cheese grater. Several months later, I received a post card , which I returned cancelling the order per their instructions. A few weeks later, I received 3 big pots...no invoice, no small pots or cheese graters and a whopping $52.90 charge on my credit card. I called the company and they said they would send me a postage paid return label..a few weeks later..no label..I called again..answer...we are out of them right now...a few weeks later, I called again...answer...we don't send them anymore..you have to return them on your own and the only way we return your money is if the pots are damaged..employee statement !!!!
Take a HAMMER and bang them up..that way we will return your shipping charges too!!! I did not damage them but returned them at a cost of an additional $10.81..that was on April 20,2003. I have not received a credit back on my card nor have I received any notice from them. Really, the public should be protected from crooks like these. I plan on writting to the attorney general of Conn. and the BBB and if I have to..I will go to the Media..I won't let these deceptive people get away with this fraud.
