I finally got my first day in court after a year of dealing with various agencies like the FMSCA, Maryland Consumer Affairs, Maryland and Virginia Attorney General offices, and the Better Business Bureau of Washington, DC. I still do not have all my household goods and I was never paid for the damaged items. And getting back what was fraudulently billed will definitely take a court judgement.

The Judge ordered Trucks on Call to Mediation which was a waste because the owner Nathan Fingerman continued to lie and afterwards Trucks on Call were ordered to participate in Arbitration where they have to pay. Interesting that all the other agencies offered it free and they refused.

For a year Trucks on Call sent conditions to the various agencies that in order to arbitate with me I had to remove all my posting from the different websites Well, the court said I did NOT ... its called my 1st Amendment Right ... FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

I paid $7450 to move from Woodbridge, VA to Waldorf, MD that included 2 months storage. Not only do I still have missing items but I have broken and damaged one too. I was fraudulently overbilled by $3000.

According to the BBB site the company has had 8 complaints this year that has attempted to be resolved and there are still pending cases against them.

This is not a moving company you want to trust to move your household goods anywhere. Please research other reputable companies. Be a wise consumer and protect yourself.

I do not want any consumer to go through what I am ... its been over a year to still have no resolution. I want my two glass table tops, my treadmill weights, my shelf to my TV stand, my gold curtain rod. I want my sofa repaired, my step stool and ceramic wastebasket replaced. And I want reimbursement of the fraudulently overbilled storage and moving charges.

I just want what is rightfully mine and for all the wrongs to be corrected. This complaint and case will remain in the forefront to protect people from having the same ordeal.

After reading the comments of some of the others who have complained about this company,I am stunned at the similarilies. I have been waiting over 6 weeks for my belongings. They are being held hostage no doubt insome dirty warehouse. I seriously doubt they will be salvagable, and by what I've read, most will be missing. It is my understanding that the FMC can suspend their licenses,or at least that is what I've been told.

In the meantime, everything I oen is in the hands of these scam artists. What amazes me is the fact that what they are doing is not recognized as a crime?

I have contacted news agencies who are preparing to do an interview about this, hopefully it will help you as well.

Arbitration Hearing Results

#3Author of original report

Thu, April 20, 2006

On April 5, 2006 I had my Arbitration hearing ordered by the Circuit Court of Charles County, Maryland. The Judge found Trucks on Call liable for several incidents in my move. Trucks on Call were found liable of overbilling for my move out of storage of $115.00/hr. for 8 hours. My original contract was $135 an hour but to deliver my household goods I was charged $250 an hour. So he calculated my reimbursement to be $920. It did not take them 8 hours it only took them 5 hours total so my reimbursement should have been $1450. Actually, $530 short. He also awarded me reimbursement for missing and damaged items of $438.40 but he forget to include my television stand shelves and curtain rod in the award. Natan lied and stated they did not have my items they didn't deliver although I had a letter by Amy written in December 2005, that states they do have them. They probably threw them away by now. I would have preferred to have my items back ... he could have brought them to the hearing especially the glass to my tables and the shelves to my TV stand. Although I do not agree with the amount awarded ... it has been over a year fighting Trucks on Call for my household goods and overpayment, so any amount at this time is a victory. For me it proves that everything I have written is TRUE about Trucks on Call. Neither Judge ordered me to remove any postings from the internet. Now I'll see if I ever get my reimbursement check. I'll be taking them back to court for my award and I will also attach a lien on whatever Trucks on Call owns. I HOPE THIS POSTING HEEDS A CLEAR WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING HIRING TRUCKS ON CALL TO MOVE THEIR HOUSEHOLD GOODS ANYWHERE!
