Complaint Review: Twin Pines K-9s - Edgewood Texas

I was texted by a woman named Heather from Twin Pines K-9s asking me to donate one of my AKC registered German Shepherd puppies to her to be trained as a narcotics detection dog, I told her I would not donate a puppy but would work out a trade for my puppy, our agreement was that she would give a full Obedience course to 4 german shepherds for me in exchange for my puppy. She agreed and asked to take the puppy and 1 dog to start training I agreed, she took the mother dog and the puppy and was supposed to have her trained in 4 weeks and pick up 2 more of my dogs well a week before I was supposed to pick up my momma dog and bring her my other 2 she told me Lumen, my momma dog was not trained and she could not fulfill her obligation and would be sending the mom and pup both back with me. So I said okay no problem, in the meantime while waiting to pick them both up like she told me I sold the puppy. I informed Heather I had found the puppy a new home and she then told me she decided to keep my puppy and I could pick the untrained mother up and that there was no more to discuss, we argued that fact and I told her she needed to compensate me for my puppy or give me my puppy back as the puppy had been paid for and had a new home with someone else she insisted she did not care and was not giving my puppy back so I told her I was going to take her to court.

The next day she told us to meet her in palestine at noon sharp or she would consider my dog abandoned we showed up at 11:50am and waited until 12:50 and she never showed so we left as my daughter had a birthday party being thrown for her, we get halfway to Katy and are notified by animal control with the palestine police department that a german shepherd had been dumped in a cage with a note and our phone number attached. So we cancelled our daughters birthday party and went back to palestine and when I saw my dog I cried she was so incredibly skinny with ribs and hips showing which I have never in my life seenon any of my dogs and she was so distressed. Animal control has all this on file as does the palestine pd and I have pictures of her and the poor condition she was in when she was dumped by Heather. Animal control said Lumen looked as if she had not eaten in quite a while. Once we got home Lumen ate dog food for 30 minutes then started eating dirt and grass, that is how malnurished she was. My puppy is still with this woman and Twin Pines and Heather both will not answer my phone calls or the polices phone calls or emails so I can take Heather to Court to get my puppy back. I am not holding Twin Pines responsible for my dog or puppy but I think it says alot about them and the business they run since they will not do anything to assist me and do the right thing.

If anyone can give me Heathers last name I would be forever grateful as I am trying to send her court papers to retrieve my puppy. I am concerned for my puppies well being after seeing how poorly her mother was cared for. Heather is in a wheelchair and approached me saying she was with Twin Pines that is why I am mentioning twin pines in this RipOff Report because whether or not they were involved Heather approached me on their behalf was the impression I was given. I have all texts and photos of my dog if this comes into question and the poor condition of my mother dog is noted at the palestine police department. I dont want excuses I want my puppy back. Like I said if anyone can assist me in information on this woman please let me know, and twin pines I am very disappointed that former police officers will not even attempt to help.
