Ultimate Power Sales Or UPSI door to door deception - lying - appears to be fraudulent without solicitation license Sugar Hill But Hitting My Neighborhood In Folsom CA Georgia
I've read so many of the statements on your site related to this situation. While I can't say it's a scam...I have had 4 kids within 1 week at my door. They have all used lies and smooth deception to try to get my money. They've lied up and down our street - using similiar - but conflicting information. Using neighbors names, using false addresses, not able to answer questions legitimately, selling without a license to solicit, etc. I cancelled one check before cashed and thank goodness. I, too, can't believe I didn't follow my instinct to have them leave. When the second set showed up last night and they wouldn't answer direct questions, had conflict in their story - I took their sheet which offers very little information to substantiate their validity and a receipt and called the police. Like I said, I can't verify yet that their a scam - but when representatives of a company flat out lie to take your money...I'd call that Fraud of some sort. Beware and tell your neighbors. They seem to be hitting all over northern California right now. Ask them to leave - call their number (707-831-7722) and ask that company to leave your city!!!
