I was told the car was the private seller/to be dealers wife's car by the owner and his service manager. The car originally came from Texas. It was sold to the Owner for 100.00 by the last owner in texas.

I was refused to be shown his wife's registration for the car, and any paperwork that made the car worth the total of 3600.00

I paid for it.

I had asked the Service manager to go through the car inside and out with a fine tooth comb. He did noit do a thorough job and it was taken back several times for repairs.

The service manager, my soon to be ex-husband, fixed my car on his own lunch hour and fixed a leaky trunk that held a pool of water. it took a rear light adjustment. New wiper blades. 1 rear window that I paid for the part on.

His boss was unhappy to replace a bad clutch that happened soon after. But was not performing right from the beginning.I still have one unrepeaired back electric window, the rear defroster that does not work, a sunroof that does not close entirely unless you push it up by hand.

My radio/cassette fell out,And now it seems that the gears are becoming at times hard to shift. I am angry because I was lied to about who owned the car, where it came from, the paperwork denied me, when I found just last week, the paper work from CO and Texas and the selling price, compared to what he paid for it and all the lies and the way it was not checked out properly.

I strongly believe it is bad business.

I told the owner he should have told me the truth and let me make an informative decision on both things. He sated that the only thing he did not know about was the defroster not working.

It was in Westerly, RI, not Idaho. I requested that 3/4 of the money i paid for the car be returned to me, so that my husband would not be fired,but the owner only offered to fix the problems 'if it would make me happy!' Who can be happy when you trust someone's word? or when you are told lies from the beginning about the car. I did not want to deal with them any further, and I believe my request was fair and honest.
