I have sent repeated complaints to mail.com about the problem and they refuse to fix it. The parant company is located in Germany and is listed as UNITED INTERNET AG.
The problem involves the repeateded appearance at the mail.com login screen of malicious adware which cannot be removed by clicking on the "X". This adware blocks the login boxes. This adware overrides any popup blocker that you have in operation. It's virtually impossible to login because of the b;latant obstructions. Repeated complaints failed to get any results. Mail.com is not willing to remove the malicious adware. I sent them screenshots of the malicious adware and they still refuse to do anything about the problem.
I had great amounts of important email business moved away from mail.com to one of my other inboxes as a direct result of this company's actions.
