Complaint Review: United Processing- Jacksonville FL - Jacksonville Florida

I received a message from a Steven Lloyd today stating that he was calling me(mentioned my full name). He said it was apparent that he speak to me in reference to a worthless bank check affadavit thats being processed in Broward county and mentioned a case #, as a felony. He left a contact phone number -1-866-723-3175. He says this is not a sales call,nor solicitation call.

I called back the number and got an answering machine that stated this was United Processing and to leave a message. I left a message regarding the information he left me.

I then went online and looked up the phone number and the company name and found the following report online>

Today I received a phone call from a Company so called United Processing Inc. They asked for me, so I said yes this is she. She then stated her name was 'KIMBERLY JONES' with United Processing and was calling in regards to case #492661 regarding legal charges. I then panicked and said I am at work in an open area could I call her back in a second where it was private and could figure out what this was. She said sure.

So I ran down stairs and called right back and a Mr. David answered and said that she had gone to court I just missed her. I asked what this was pertaining to and he said Kimberly would have to tell me. So I said PLEASE tell her I called and gave him my number. Less then 20 minutes later she called back saying that a sheriff would be at my work to arrest me since I didn't call back; to which I replied YES! I did, she argued with me for a minute but then said oh wait here is the note that you called. Then said I had a check loan for $132.65 to pay and I said I am happy to take care of that today, she replied Ok. So she gave me the proper instructions on how to pay through Western Union.

Then shout (what sounded like across a room) to someone and said 'pull back social security#, (and shouted my actual social# again across the room), she is going to pay' She then said well the 'affidavit won't go out til 12:45 your time so if you call back by then saying you sent the money you won't be arrested' I said within 2 hours?? I am at work there is no way I can do that, why would you issue something for my arrest if I said I was going to pay?

She got very upset and said I better stop F@%!ing arguing with her and figure out a way to get this resolved in 2 hours. If not she would send someone to my work and have me arrested. I said I don't understand can't I have until 4 which is 5 hours, she replied we are getting no where so I will issue the arrest now, good luck! I asked to speak to a manager, she said I am the F%@#ing manager, I said then let me speak to your boss. She said let me speak to your F%$#ing boss and hung up!

I then decided I would find a corporate office or something to find someone higher up, so I googled the company and that is when I found the numerous reports. I really didn't pay attention until I saw the one titled United Processing - KIMBERLY JONES from Jessica B. Dunnellon, Florida, so first let me THANK YOU!!!!, but then I began reading and all of these reports were verbatim what happened to me!! I then called the company back and got Lisa Watts who said she was the manager, in some stories she is the secretary and some the manager, but she said she would hold it til 4 and I said what about the scams she said oh thats not us. Oh really everything matches!!!

UNITED PROCESSING INC OF JACKSONVILLE FL IS A SCAM!!!!SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT THIS AND NOW!!!!

I called them back and left another message stating I saw this information about them online and not to contact me again or I will report tehm.

I am now filing this here, as I did not see a listing for this company on here.

If I do receive any more calls for them. I will take further action!

I hope everyone else that gets these calls from them will do the same!!
