Universal Expedite Jose Cortesi Professional Drivers Beware New Lenox Illinois
Let me start off with the potential incentives and pay this employer promised me as a driver. I thought I would get 65 percent if I paid fuel and stayed consistent. I did get the loads and tons of miles and the driver pay rate seemed really persuasive( too good to be true). After about a month I see only a couple hundred dollars so I call and he says its the 3 loads. But the 3 loads which were offered was much greater than what the deposit stated and he refused to show me a linehaul settement. Another thing he's bad with his vehicles, he bypasses on the reccomended services and they just look like junk inside out. Probably the worst quality about Joey Cortesi is the way he talks to drivers. They're talked to like they are 15 year olds and are in some interrogation room. The final straw was when I was degraded for wanting to go to Bordertown locations. He said he used to be a cop and wanted a great excuse why I wanted to go. Dude the last several companies I worked for was hauling freight from Mexico going to our major Midwestern auto plants( to and fro). This guy is a crook who pick pocket most of your earnings for himself. So I did what any smart driver would've done...return it back and quit.

 If not for this post, we would still be stuck in Houston so thank you. This man is attempting to scam my husband & I as we speak. He saw us as an easy mark bc we're young parents & we're struggling. We are anything but an easy mark & I intend to make this as loud & messy as the law will allow & I will find a way to make him own up to scamming so many men/women & their families over the years! He didn't take this into perspective- WE ARE NOT IGNORANT. We have influential people, just as he does, that care about our well being & who is attempting to jeopardize it! I can't believe he's gotten away with it this long. Did you try to negotiate with him? Any info/clarity you could provide would be greatly appreciated & I'm deeply sorry you went through what we are now going through with this horrible horrible person.
