University of Phoenix Withheld Funds and Pells Internet
I went to Univerisity of Phoenix on June 10, 2009. I did not have any problems until they put this Octavia Alexander on my Financial Account. And for my Academic Advisor he was on her side. This is how it all begin. They started taking my funds, which I did not get a Spring Disbursement so I begin filing claim this school is taking people funds and putting them in their on pocket. I had to go through a grade Dispute for a Math Course which they explain that you must maintain a 60% or above. I got a 61% in that math course and had to still take it over. This is a discrimination when they are knowing how they run their grading scales and all that writing and going through all the stress they still did not did anything about. She withheld my loans and taking my disbursement when I pass my course to pay for my next course still of letting my loans that i fill out 5 mths ahead she still withheld them. THis University is a scam and a fraud and thing to be stop.
SO, I begin talking to different Financial Aid Advisor and I had call Obudsman and they gave me the number to some Financial Program but I could not ever get a whole to them. So, I finally in the past week I had talk to another financial advisor at University of Phoenix stated to me that I had enough credit for my 2009-2010 Pell to come out, which she just stated to me that they can not go that far back but it is showing on my Financial Aid Review, which I have a letter that I was awarded 5,350 but only half of that came out. Now she said that I do not get those funds because it suppose to been in that aid year if you knew that why you did not let it come out when I have recieve over 24 credits to begin. SO, where will my other 2,675 dollars go and the thing about it is I am know longer with University of Phoenix and she just now doing the rest of my Pell because she had split it up for some reason and the whole Pell did not come out which is for the 2011-2012. It is so sad that they would do this to me and I am knowing what is going on. They are withhelding my funds on my financial account and what she did was wait and not let it come out when she knowing I had enough credit to do so. I would like to get access to my full financial account because the other Financial Aid advisor stated that it only take 7 to 10 days to process which he did not do anything just stated to me he was go work on it which he did not but the main factor that he stated was I had enough credit for that Pell to come out. They have tooken from me and sent me on a nervous break down it is not right and she still withhelding funds on my account. But they shall not get away with it I will continue to fight and fight for Justice until they know the truth about University of Phoenix.

The real rip off here is that they enrolled you before you had even a high school level command of the English language. Why not start at the local community college and improve your English first? It's far cheaper.
