I made the sad mistake of trying to do business with UPS for my home business for shipping. They haven't been able to apply payment I've sent to my account and they Dunn me because of it. They send you on a merry goose chase of different phone numbers and departments to solve simple problems which sometimes takes a day out of every week to solve. When I finally get to someone who has me fax the proof of my payment, the return my call and tell me the proof isn't good enough. They overbill me on every statement. Adding whatever they arbitrarily decide they want to add. I spend more time dealing with this only to have them tell me I'm a dead beat for even mentioning it. No one is responsible for anything when you finally get to talk to someone, they always tell me that they can't do anything about my problem. I had shipped over 400 packages with them from November of 2001 until March 2002. I had one insurance claim for broken merchandise which added up to $274.00 loss. They denied it based on some bogus reasons that make no sense. I used state of the art shipping materials including bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts to package my shipments always keeping breakables at least three inches away from the sides and bottom of the box. The box which the returned to me at my request was so badly damaged by them that nothing could have survived inside. Yet they denied the claim stating that it wasn't packed properly. I took pics and probably will eventually file a claim in court to get them to pay up. That is after I get the billing department to credit my account for payments I made over three months ago. Do I need to say anything more? Oh how about them calling me late the other night to harrass me about the money I owed (which was the identicle amount they didn't credit to my account). If God made people with muchrooms for brains He must have sent them all to UPS to work. By the way the truck driver is the only one among the whole lot at UPS worth paying. The rest are absolutely useless. I've closed my account and will find another way to get my packages delivered. I am so angry as I write this it is difficult for me to hit the right keys on the keyboard. I didn't sleep the other night after being berrated by their collection dept late on Monday night while trying to relax before turning in. They are unscrupulous, hard hearted, and satanic. If they all burn in Hell, it will be my delight. Pigs are better than the ilk that work for UPS. Its a real shame the gov doesn't do its job anymore. They would certainly close down this thug operation known as UPS. Believe me when I say I haven't been this mad for quite a few years. Let that be a testament of how rotten UPS treats its customers.
