I purchased a late 80's Maxima bumper cover for $200+, including shipping and handling of $79 (ouch) and received an order confirmation email shortly afterward. The website and email explained that delivery would occur withing 7-14 business days. The credit card was charged immediately for the entire purchase amount although no record of shipment was provided me.

Thirty days later I contacted the company by telephone because my earlier email inquiry had not been replied to. The modus operandi of the firm is to place you on HOLD and drive you crazy with upbeat Muzak. I had dialed in on a local line, but called back on their toll-free number and ultimately reached an operator who would not answer my questions in a straightforward manner and made a number of assertions to me about the order that were not accurate.

After spending thirty minutes with this operator, I asked for a Supervisor and was advised none was available. Ultimately I reached a supervisor who told me the part was not available and my order would be canceled and completely refunded in full within 7 business days. We will see if this is the case.

Do not do business with this company or any of its subsidiary businesses online unless you are into grief. Avoid their websites www.perfectfit.com, www.usautoparts.net, www.partstrain.com, and www.autopartswarehouse.com.

My guess is that their business practices are similar and in my opinion unethical.
