If I am reading this correctly ( and I am) then either the person who wrote the rebuttal or Jack is pulling a fast one on consumers. As someone who works in the mortgage industry I know a little about the hope program and what it takes to qualify. If the gentleman had any idea of what he was doing these people should still be in their home. it should take anywhere from 7 months to over 18 months for a full foreclosure to be completed. The only way a "evection" could have happened this soon was either the client was farther behind then he thought or their was a deal made between jack and the bank concerning this. As I understand it there are a lot of "helpful people" trying to help home owners but who are not licensed to do so or have no idea what they are doing. A call to the mortgage company asking for a deferment or even a forbearance could have been completed in less than 24 hrs if "Jack" knew what he was doing and from there he could have worked on this while the clients tried to either short sale or even sell it outright. What was his state license number for doing business in NV and when was it issued would be my first question. The next would be to call the State Bar and make sure his " attorneys" are real Attorneys. This should have never happened and shame on you for preying on the desperate people of that state.

I worked for the US Justice Foundation until it was Ordered to cease and desist- it was helping consumers remain in their homes and many are still there years later. Mr. Ferm was the only one trying to help people that had no money to hire an attorney or to pay $50,000 to $100,000 dollars to fight the Banks.
He accepted cases for as little as $500. (as this consumer admits) and had 3 full time attorneys on staff to help these people. This consumer is out of line blaming Mr. Ferm when as they say "They could not make their mortgage payments" they also could not pay the Foundation its regular charges which was $2,500 to do all the paperwork to help these people, and if they wanted to retain one of the staff attorneys it was another $2,500. That would be the total cost to fight the banks. Ask an attorney how much they would charge to take on the banks, you will be surprised, they want a $15,000 retainer to even begin!
what makes me angry, is i worked there and saw how Mr. Ferm cared and tried to help these people. No one at the time dared take on the banks, and now Mr. Ferm whose reputation was spotless has been victimized by these losers he tried to help.
