US Readers Service lied about contract duration Tampa Florida
I got a phone call from a woman who offerd me a selection of several magazines. I had a verbal contract to pay 11.22 a month for 2 years or double the first year payments and not pay for the second year. So I decided to double the payments the first year.
After the first few months I was told that I had a binding 5 year contract with them and owe them $600. I never signed any contract I only signed a payment voucher for my first mo. free.
They have been calling me 6 days a week about the $600, they are claiming to have a lawsuit against me and have threatend to garnish my husbands wages. I dont know what to do.
