USA Insulation has great TV and radio commercials but don't believe their lies. I spent $3500 for a room  they promised would be nice and warm during the cold winter months in Cincinnati. Guess what? The product didn't work. I paid them on time and in full. What did I get? A freezing room. I can't use the room. I filed a complaint with them and they had an office manager email me back basically saying "too bad". We aren't going to refund your money. Sorry, you're on your own.

It's outrageous. I was completely ripped off. Oh, and by the way, my utility bills went up not down!! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE!

We absolutely did not tell this customer "sorry about your luck." We hired a third party to come preform a thermal imaging scan on her walls to identify any areas that might be cold and missing insulation, and to test windows, doors, and air flow coming from the duct work. This service is EXPENSIVE. We paid for it anyways because we stand by our product and workmanship and always do what we can to insure properly insulated walls. The company that came to do her energy audit found that the walls were insulated properly, but she does not have enough heat flowing into the room. See my emeil to her below, where I said nothing even close to "sorry about your luck." She wants a fully insulated room for free because our insulation isn't blowing heat into her room for her, and frankly, we find this report to be a "Rip off."

My name is Ashley, I’m the office manager at USA. I understand the frustration you feel about the cold room you have. We are absolutely committed to doing everything we can for our customers to make sure their homes are insulated properly. That is why we contract with people like Shane Monday at HES to check our work and identify problems. His services are not free, as you can probably imagine. He did indicate, as you know, that the walls are fully insulated, and it seems that you have an issue with the amount of heat blowing into the room. Our insulation does not generate heat. If you don’t have enough heat pumping into a room, you cannot expect it to be warm.  Once you get the room heated properly, you will find that the heat is not escaping through your well insulated walls. We will not be able to issue a refund.

I hope you can work with someone to direct more air flow to the room in question and that they’re able to fix your problem!
