USIS Commercial Services Lied and sent me a vauge copy of background check containing no information. Tulsa Oklahoma
I have written several letters to USIS requesting copies of my background check and work history report that Macys conducted.
I received the copies of the background check and work history report that I had requested only to notice that they were vague in detail and believe that there was a significant amount of information that was left out in the report.
I then sent another letter explaining to them the vague report I received and how the miniscule amount of information displayed did not go back as far as the 7 10 year period that they said it would. I have worked two jobs in that 10-year span.
I received a call today from USIS saying Macys never requested a report and that they do not perform background checks for retail companies, yet they had Sears on the report that showed that I worked for them in the retail capacity. Furthermore, the report stated that Sears had requested a background check.
While filling out an online employment application inside the store, it gave USIS as the principal contact, listing their contact name, address and phone number and mentioned that they are the company that provides the service for their employment screening department. I still believe I did not receive the same report that Macys did and therefore believe they withheld the truth that Macys has an account with USIS.
Can someone please offer advice on where I go from here as I have been attempting to obtain copies of my background check for seven years and just when I believed that the opportunity with Macys had presented itself for me to satisfy this need, they, for whatever reasons unknown, had sent me an inconclusive report during which they would give me endless runaround and double speak during conversations with them over the phone.
