Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been called 4 times by different individuals but each had an Indian accent.  The first time I fell for the scam.  Lucas said that my PC was about to crash.  He keep getting warnings when I try to open my emails that someone has hacked into my hardrive.  They said they would remove the damage but would have to go in and take control of my computor.  They wanted $177.78 and wanted me to give them payment with my debit card.  They did go into my computer and showed my the result of someone hacking but I think now that they did it while they distracted me and had me give them information.

They never received the money they wanted for doing the scam.  I told them I would not have money on the debit card for three days and they said that would be OK.  They wanted me to send them an e-mail that I authorized the payment and that I knew it was non-refundable.

They had me write that UTH is not connected with Microsoft Corporation nor any other corporation, but when they call, each time they say that they are technitions for microsoft.

Fortunately I was able to cancal the card when they were going to get the payment.  I also removed the icons they put on my desktop, one was definately is used for criminal activity.

you need to do more than just remove desktop icons.

those programs they installed remotely are capable are

keystroke loggers possibly and can capture your logins

and also put other malware and adware on your system.

Runs scans with GOOD antiu spwyare programs

including malwarebytes anti-malwware. It id free.

Just be sure to check what boxes are prechecked.

REINSTALL YOUR COMPUTER

The icons are not the actual programs you have to go into the computer control panel to the PROGRAMS AND FEATURES and delete any program that they loaded on your computer.

AFTER THAT you have to take your computer back t factory settings.

There are files you CAN'T delete, so  redo the computer.

NEVER EVER answer the phone again when they say they are Microsoft and any computer company.

They do not know anything that your computer does.

ONE THING YOU CAN DO is say YOU HAVE NO COMPUTER.

They will call but if your on a cell phone go into the call list bring up the number and on the top tight of the cell page click the 4 dots upper right and open it up and put the phone number on reject list. Do this for every call   I did cause they harassed me and now no more calls.
