Vacations DirectVacations Direct, Inc. Time Share Re-Sale Scam Ormond Beach Florida
First, one sales rep calls me and says that VD has a contract with a major travel company to buy Time Share weeks. I was assured that this was a done-deal and only approval, in the form of a small marketing fee, was required to bring it all to a speedy close.
Then, after approving the charge on my credit card, I never could get this guy on the phone again. Weeks go by. After leaving 11 messages in one day, a guy who calls himself Doug Sebastian from Customer Service calls and says he is returning my call. He apologizes saying that the first sales rep had a break-down and had to be let go. It seems that the major deal fell through at the last minute but none the less, they have fulfilled their part of the contract. So, no refund will be due me. But, they will, out of the goodness of their pea-pickenlittle-harts, extend my marketing agreement for another nine months.
I sent a notice for claim of a refund to them within the time period in the agreement.
I am awaiting their reply.
