You can visit your line information via VerizonWireless.com, and verify what features are active. You can make the appropriate changes to your line, so you don't receive anymore bogus charges.

We too thought we had everything blocked. Verizon assured us last month when we added another kid that everything possible was blocked but..... This month Verizon passed along new service charges from an outside texting company. They are showing up all over everyones Verizon bills. Verizon knows they have a problem. Premium Text messaging is the new thing. Some unknown to you company sends you a text message, you respond and if you do not pay attention and respond in the wrong way (ie. accept the service) you will be charged a premium. Watch Verizon bills, you have about 30 days to question any fraudulent or unauthorized charges. Re-visit Verizon, yesterday 2/26 they were able to reverse the charges and block my kids from subscribing to this service again. Ask if you can get the reps extension number, to follow up on if question still exist on the next bill. Good reps will give it to you, if not ask for a manager.
